Alternate headline: A Democrat's best friend is people who aren't paying attention The deficit is soaring. Economic growth is still sluggish. Syria is a disaster. ObamaCare is imploding. The Supreme Court just informed the president that, much to his dismay, he does have to enforce the nation’s immigration laws. So how about that job the Barack Obama’s doing? What say you, America? Oh . . . OK:

That 44 percent may well be the lowest number of his entire presidency among Latinos. I’d say odds are good, at least, that it’s the lowest since the big debt-ceiling standoff in 2011, when Obama saw some of his worst polling across the board. And it’s not just Latinos who are sour on him right now. Click and scroll left and you’ll find that he hasn’t been below 60 percent among nonwhite voters once since last November. Until now.

Have you seen Obama’s poll numbers? They are among the lowest in history. As of today, Obama’s approval rating is at 38%. That’s just barely above Richard Nixon. That means that among the rest of America, outside of loyal, lifelong, Kool-Aid drinking Democrats, Obama's ratings are nil. Remember that about 47% of Americans get entitlement checks from government. Obama is PAYING for their support and he still only has 38% approval. You know you're unpopular when even bribes don't work anymore! He has virtually zero support among the 53% who aren't getting a check from government. You can't find another...

One in five Democrats now opposes ObamaCare, a record high, according to the latest IBD/TIPP Poll. And more than one in six Democrats now say they want it repealed, another new high. Overall, 55% of the public oppose the law, the highest since IBD/TIPP started asking this question in 2010. Just 37% support ObamaCare, matching a record low. And while support for outright repeal of the law inched down in January, that was because it fell among Republicans and independents. Among Democrats, support for repeal jumped 4 points. ObamaCare is also clearly driving down President Obama's approval rating, which dropped...

Original title: President Obama's approval rating hits a NEW all-time low in poll as only 39% of the country say he is doing a good job ------- President Obama's approval ratings have hit an all-time low as the continued problems with the health care roll out have forced him to apologize once again for his administration's mistakes. A new poll by Quinnipiac University revealed on Tuesday that 54 per cent of Americans disapprove of President Obama's job performance while only 39 per cent approve. Adding to the blow, the latest poll breaks the results down into gender and age demographics,...

President Obama has fled the White House for the peace and serenity of the beaches and golf links of Martha's Vineyard, leaving behind a mess of polls with failure written all over them. In the sweltering, dog days of August, Obama has left town for a one week vacation, hoping to escape the many troubles that plague his presidency: a declining economy; his job approval polls in a nose dive; and the latest news that the vast majority of Americans are dissatisfied with the country's direction under his policies. The Gallup Poll this week shows his job approval marks falling...

President Barack Obama’s disapproval rating has hit yet another series of new lows on his handling of the economy, the federal budget deficit and unemployment, a new poll shows. Voters also gave thumbs down to other aspects of Obama’s policies as they relate to the economy. CNN found that 66 percent of respondents disapproved of Obama’s handling of the federal deficit, and 62 percent disapproved of his handling of unemployment. All three figures for Obama’s handling...

Wow! The AP poll has Obama’s approval rating hitting 60 percent! And 53 percent say he deserves to be reelected! And on the economy, 52 percent approve of the way Obama’s handling it, and only 47 percent disapprove! He’s up 54–46 on approval of how he’s handling health care! On unemployment, 52 percent approval, 47 percent disapproval! 57 percent approval on handling Libya! Even on the deficit, he’s at 47 percent approval, 52 percent disapproval! It is a poll of adults, which isn’t surprising; as I mentioned yesterday, you don’t have to be a registered or likely voter to have...

PRINCETON, NJ -- President Barack Obama's job approval ratings were even more polarized during his second year in office than during his first, when he registered the most polarized ratings for a first-year president. An average of 81% of Democrats and 13% of Republicans approved of the job Obama was doing as president during his second year. That 68-point gap in party ratings is up from 65 points in his first year and is easily the most polarized second year for a president since Dwight Eisenhower. Ronald Reagan and Bill Clinton are the only two presidents prior to Obama who...

RASMUSSEN Reports 9:30AM ET: Obama Approval Falls to New Low: 42% Obama Approval Index: -20 Strongly Approve 24% Strongly Disapprove 44% Total Approval 42% Ohaha's speech reeked of Rahm and Axelrod's political calculations. Some of the phrases used---the allusion to our fighting men, etc----the Reaganesque "God Bless America"----show the WH mob had calculatedly written the speech using focus-grouped phrases intended to suck Ohaha out of the political sinkhole he's made for himself. In fact, the speech was so well-rehearsed, even down to the orchestrated voice inflections-----that Ohaha must have channelled Lee Strassberg.
