Yes, everyone always leaves out the media’s role. Its not journalism to just print a government leaker’s propaganda. The WP and the NYT are just as guilty as Clapper or Brennan. The government would never have been able to do this if the media did not just report leaks as true. Even though they know the source is inside the propaganda arm of the government. Some of our most highly respected jounalists who win pulitzer prizes, are just WP employees writing down, word for word, what John Brennan tells them to print. Its not journalism, its a crime.
Everyone who was involved should be investigated, including Mark Warner and the FISA Judges (Boasberg, et al).

President Donald Trump crowed over the settlement in his lawsuit against “60 Minutes,” CBS, and Paramount — which stemmed from a selectively edited interview of former Vice President Kamala Harris — calling it a “BIG AND IMPORTANT WIN!” Trump first shared the news in a post on his Truth Social platform, where he also took aim at ABC News and anchor George Stephanopoulos over their recent payout in a similar lawsuit.
“BREAKING NEWS! We have just achieved a BIG AND IMPORTANT WIN in our Historic Lawsuit against 60 Minutes, CBS, and Paramount,” Trump posted. “Just like ABC and George Slopadopoulos, CBS and its Corporate Owners knew that they defrauded the American People, and were desperate to settle. Paramount/CBS/60 Minutes have today paid $16 Million Dollars in settlement, and we also anticipate receiving $20 Million Dollars more from the new Owners, in Advertising, PSAs, or similar Programming, for a total of over $36 Million Dollars,” he added. “This is another in a long line of VICTORIES over the Fake News Media, who we are holding to account for their widespread fraud and deceit.”

President Donald Trump announced Tuesday he had reached a settlement with CBS and Paramount triggered by a 60 Minutes interview with Vice President Kamala Harris. ‘We have just achieved a BIG AND IMPORTANT WIN in our Historic Lawsuit against 60 Minutes, CBS, and Paramount,’ Trump wrote on Truth Social. ‘Just like ABC and George Slopadopoulos, CBS and its Corporate Owners knew that they defrauded the American People, and were desperate to settle.’
Trump said that Paramount/CBS/60 Minutes paid $16 million in the settlement and anticipated an additional $20 million from the new owners of CBS in advertising, PSAs or similar programming. ‘This is another in a long line of VICTORIES over the Fake News Media, who we are holding to account for their widespread fraud and deceit,’ Trump wrote. ‘The Wall Street Journal, The Failing New York Times, The Washington Post, MSDNC, CNN, and all other Mainstream Media Liars, are ON NOTICE that the days of them being allowed to deceive the American People are OVER.’
Trump famously protested the 60 Minutes interview of Harris with host Bill Whitaker after it was revealed that one of the vice president’s lengthy spiraling answers on Israel was edited for the public broadcast. In protest, he filed a $20 billion lawsuit to challenge CBS and 60 Minutes, arguing that the show’s producers purposefully edited the interview to make Harris look better and sway the presidential election. CBS argued that their edits were part of the normal editorial process.

The unearthed version of the interview showed that CBS only aired 20 minutes of Kamala Harris talking, of the total 60 minutes that were filmed.
The unedited footage opens with the former VP sneezing as she explains she is ‘allergic to mold,’ while other sections of her answers were cropped and cut out completely. In other places Harris gave rambling answers on why she should be president, foreign policy, and Trump - all which were nixed by CBS. The interview has been nominated for an Emmy this year for ‘outstanding edited interview,’ despite Trump’s repeated attacks against the content Paramount, CBS, and 60 Minutes settled the president’s lawsuit out of court, rather than go to trial.
The settlement concludes as the company Skydance is preparing to purchase Paramount and CBS, which requires approval from the Federal Communications Commission. News of the settlement is expected to grease the wheels for FCC approval of the proposed merger. Trump’s claims of a additional advertising value from Skydance, the future owners of Paramount, has not been confirmed by the company.
