CLEVELAND (WJW) — The woman accused of stabbing a 3-year-old boy and his mother in a local Giant Eagle parking lot went before a judge to be arraigned Monday morning, but what is typically a quick court proceeding became a more lengthy process as the judge asked the defendant multiple times if she had received her indictment. At first, Bionca Ellis, 33, appeared for the hearing via video from the Cuyahoga County Jail. She sat silently with her head down. “Ms. Ellis, why don’t you want to answer these questions?” asked the judge.

The men, who range in age from 30 to 55, were arrested Thursday on sex charges in North Olmsted by the members of the Northeast Ohio Human Trafficking Task Force. WESTLAKE, Ohio (WJW)– Newly-released video shows a man armed with a machete stealing a dog from a shopper at Crocker Park. Westlake police say a couple was walking their dogs in the complex on Tuesday night, when they were approached by the suspect carrying the machete. The couple reported that the man was speaking incoherently and suddenly used the machete to cut one of their leashes and grabbed one of their dogs.
