A pastor in Virginia is taking on the Democratic Party's long-time strangle-hold on the black voting bloc, telling fellow black Americans that it is high time for them to end their “slavish devotion to the Democrat Party.” In a nearly four-minute video (see at bottom) produced by the group Americans Taking a Stand, Bishop E.W. Jackson, pastor of Exodus Faith Ministries in Chesapeake, Virginia, nails the Democrats for their support of abortion and homosexual marriage, and for eschewing Christian values, in the process challenging black Christians to make a mass exodus from the party. “They have insulted us, used us,...

The Huebert Brewing Company’s novelty brew “Nobama Beer” has been a roaring success in Oklahoma. Company owner, Rick Huebert would like to sell nationwide, but has been denied permission to do so by the federal Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB). Huebert says his original written application requesting nationwide distribution rights was altered by TTB official Kent Martin’s penciled-in “this product is only for sale in the state of Oklahoma.” “The demand is there,” Huebert maintained. “Inventory is flying off our shelves. I’m hiring people. Isn’t this the kind of growth the economy needs?” “The decision to ban...

U.S. President Barack Obama issued a new executive order last week to fight human trafficking, touting his administration's handling of the issue. "When a little boy is kidnapped, turned into a child soldier, forced to kill or be killed -- that's slavery," Obama said in a speech at the Clinton Global Initiative. "It is barbaric, and it is evil, and it has no place in a civilized world. Now, as a nation, we've long rejected such cruelty." But for the third year in a row, Obama has waived almost all U.S. sanctions that would punish certain countries that use child...

First Romney, then the You Tube clip, now the Marines are to blame? The Obama administration's shifting claims on what took place in Benghazi, Libya on 9/11 became more defiant yesterday when unnamed officials suggested that no amount of security would have mattered in Libya, not even a detachment of US Marines. This came on the same day the administration also admitted the assault was a terror attack not a protest gone wrong. ...

I saw that movie 2016: Obamas America last night, awesome movie, but one part that almost made me puke up my popcorn was this part near the ending. Anyone see this yet? I found it on Youtube. Is child abuse suddenly legal in this country? That's news to me. Be advised: This is a MEGA-barf alert! Watch at your own peril! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cdPSqL9_mfM&bpctr=1348321141

This past week, “2016: The Movie” about President Barack Obama opened in the Chicago area, and I chose to get more of an education about Obama by seeing the movie. After the inundation of canned hype for the movie on conservative talk shows across the Chicago radio dial that sounded more like commercials than honest endorsements of the movie, I was skeptical of what I was going to see. While some talk show hosts sounded like they were genuinely impressed with the documentary and honestly endorsing the film, there were those who were obviously reading a commercial script which was...

Filmmakers call it "the movie the White House doesn't want you to see." Apparently, they're right. Perhaps the president was hoping 2016: Obama’s America would come and go unnoticed like so many other political documentaries. But seven weeks after its opening, the film is still going strong, prompting Barack Obama to finally respond, which he has done through a lengthy entry at his campaign’s website that calls the movie “a deliberate distortion” of his “record and world view.”

Tuesday, September 11, 2012 The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Tuesday shows President Obama attracting support from 48% of voters nationwide, while Mitt Romney earns 45% of the vote. Three percent (3%) prefer some other candidate, and four percent (4%) are undecided. Today’s data suggests that the president’s convention bounce has started to fade. See daily tracking history. When “leaners” are included, it’s Obama 49% and Romney 47%. Leaners are those who initially indicate no preference for either candidate but express a preference for one of them in a follow-up question.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Tuesday said the United States had forfeited its moral right to stop Israel taking action against Iran's nuclear program because it had refused to be firm with Tehran itself. In comments which appeared to bring the possibility of an Israeli attack on Iran closer, Netanyahu took the Obama administration to task after Washington rebuffed his own call to set a red line for Tehran's nuclear drive. "The world tells Israel 'wait, there's still time'. And I say, 'Wait for what? Wait until when?'" said Netanyahu, speaking in English.

The city of Chicago, the third largest in America, is crumbling into anarchy. The murder rate is so out of control that federal authorities have agreed to assist the Chicago Police Department in their efforts to curb soaring violence. The city has seen over a thirty-percent rise in its murder rate this year and in the last eight days of August, 82 people were killed or wounded by gun violence. With his city in a violent downward spiral, Mayor Rahm Emanuel has been focusing on what’s important: banning Chik-fil-A from Chicago. On Wednesday, during Bill Clinton’s address to the DNC...

I just saw 2016 today, it finally moving to a theater in my neighborhood. I thought it was just terrific, very well done and very persuasive. I'd be very interested to see what others think, especially fellow FReepers.

What better way to commemorate the Labor Day holiday than to send a message to the AWOL campaign-in-chief — and support Clint Eastwood, to boot! Twitchy has the story of the latest Eastwood-inspired social media phenomenon. First, #eastwooding. Now: #EmptyChairDay. Tomorrow, Monday, is the day. Decorate yours any way you want it: Nobama stickers, Romney/Ryan yard signs, golf clubs, mom jeans, etc. Email/tweet us your best entries. My decoration’s going to be “We own this country!” sign, in tribute to Eastwood’s best line from his speech. Have fun! You know they’re going to call it racist, anyway. *** One Twitter...

A US-Israeli ballistic missile exercise postponed until this autumn will involve fewer US military personnel than initially planned, the Pentagon said on Friday, but it rejected a media report portraying the decision as a sign of US mistrust. The exercise is being planned amid rising war talk in the Israeli media and reports that Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Ehud Barak are debating a unilateral attack on Iran to knock out its nuclear installations. Washington has cautioned Israel against going it alone. .... Time magazine reported on Friday that initially about 5,000 US troops were planned to be...

What a difference a speech makes. As Ari Fleischer noted on CNN, the same media that was cool with the shallow vapidity of hope and change in 2008 is now demanding specifics from Mitt Romney. Last night in Tampa, he gave the one set of specifics he needed to give — a course correction. The Democrats are screaming that it is a return to the 1950′s, when unemployment was less than it is now. That is a talking point. Mitt Romney made a very simple case for himself last night: the President promised the oceans and the earth. He’s just...

The latest fundraising plea from First Lady Michelle Obama for Barack Obama's reelection campaign: Daniel -- Before you go to bed tonight, do me a favor and read Barack's note. We've always known this election was going to be even tougher than the last one. All across the country, supporters like you have stepped up to give your time and energy to help move this country forward. We can't let that hard work be undone by our opponents' unlimited spending on negative TV ads. If we win, it will because of what you do today, and for the next 77...

Today, President Obama sent out a campaign email essentially blaming his supporters if he loses. See, he’s supposedly being outspent. And because he’s supposedly being outspent, he’s losing. And he can’t spend more money unless his supporters fork it over. This is the campaign version of Obama’s entire economic argument: he can’t fix the economy unless he spends more money. And unless we give him more money, he can’t spend it. So if the economy fails, it’s our fault. Here’s the perverse logic: Last week, when I was in Iowa, voters told me they were feeling it. The numbers back...
