This morning, officials were out in force talking about the historic benefits of President Donald J. Trump’s One Big Beautiful Bill, which will deliver unprecedented tax relief, generational welfare reform, and historic spending cuts. Here’s what you missed:Office of Management and Budget Director Russ Vought: “It is $1.4 trillion in reduced deficits and debt. That’s why this is such a paramount, fiscally responsible bill.” (Watch)Director Vought: “The conservatives that have historically used the debt limit to sound the alarm have been pushing for the very reforms that are in this bill, so we believe that it’s important to do it with...

Whether it’s George Floyd or ICE raids, the far left always seems to find an excuse for mayhem. The city of Los Angeles is on fire. Once again, the progressive left has resorted to political violence – this time, using mass arrests of illegal aliens by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) as an excuse. The Los Angeles Police Department was practically stood down, not allowed initially to help when the ICE facility was surrounded. The situation got so out of hand that the National Guard has now been deployed. If there was ever such a thing as a safe bet,...

The exchange followed Newsom explicitly stating "Tom, arrest me" to Homan during a clip on MSNBC. President Donald Trump on Monday urged border czar Tom Homan to arrest Gov. Gavin Newsom, D-Calif., amid ongoing riots in Los Angeles, calling him "grossly incompetent.""I would do it, if I were Tom," he said in response to a reporter question at the White House. Newsom responded furiously on X, saying "The President of the United States just called for the arrest of a sitting Governor. This is a day I hoped I would never see in America. I don’t care if you’re a...

Despite years of calls from Texas voters to end the use of taxpayer dollars for lobbying, legislation to ban the practice died in committee this session, leaving Texans footing a multi-million-dollar lobbying bill. For years, both Democrat and Republican voters have called on elected officials to outlaw the use of tax dollars for lobbying. This issue was even a legislative priority this session for the Republican Party of Texas. Despite a Republican-controlled House and Senate creating ideal conditions for change, five pieces of legislation aimed at ending this practice ultimately died in the House State Affairs Committee, chaired by State...

The riots of a sanctuary state. “The federal government is moving to take over the California National Guard and deploy 2,000 soldiers,” Gov. Gavin Newsom explained in a June 7 statement.“That move is purposefully inflammatory and will only escalate tensions. LA authorities are able to access law enforcement assistance at a moment’s notice. We are in close coordination with the city and county, and there is currently no unmet need. The Guard has been admirably serving LA throughout recovery. This is the wrong mission and will erode public trust.”Californians might have noticed something missing from the governor’s statement.Leading up to...

The left that marketed him as the ‘wrongly deported Maryland dad’ now downplays his alleged crimes to fit their messaging. The propaganda press catchphrase of recent days is “wrongly deported,” used liberally in headlines describing the latest chapter of the Kilmar Armando Abrego Garcia deportation saga. For open-border activists, who have been blindly advocating for Abrego Garcia’s return to the U.S., “wrongly deported,” goes down easier than “alleged international human trafficker.”A grand jury indictment unsealed Friday by the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), charged Abrego Garcia, 30, with “conspiracy to transport aliens” and “unlawful transportation of undocumented aliens.” The charges are...

A week or so ago, I received an email from an old friend in the intelligence community—let’s call him “Smiley”—commenting on my research into the case of Derek Chauvin, the former Minneapolis police officer convicted in April 2021 of murdering chronic felon and drug abuser George Floyd a year prior. Said Smiley, “Time for you to write a ‘J’accuse’ piece--naming names.” He was referring to the powerful public letter French author Emile Zola wrote in 1898 damning the people responsible for the wrongful conviction and imprisonment of French Army Captain Alfred Dreyfus four years prior. A few days later, I...

The operation to cue riots over the removal of illegal immigrants has been well-planned in advance. Chief lawfare artists Norm Eisen and Mary McCord have engineered the legal strategy to oppose enforcement of US immigration law. They will clog the courts with lawsuits to prevent it and enlist their allied federal judges to issue injunction after injunction paralyzing the deportation process. ...

I cannot believe this is real. ABC reporter says not to bring in law enforcement to the LA riots because “it’s just a bunch of people having fun watching cars burn.”

From CBS News Texas:“Texas has agreed to end in-state tuition rates for undocumented immigrants. The Department of Justice sued Texas on Wednesday over a long-standing state education policy, which it says illegally favors undocumented foreign students. The lawsuit accuses Texas of discriminating against out-of-state American students by offering in-state tuition rates to undocumented immigrants. That same day, Attorney General Ken Paxton filed a joint motion along with the Trump administration to end the law. It’s one of the latest efforts by the Trump administration to crack down on immigration into the country. President Trump issued two executive orders to prevent ‘benefits or...

A new round of trade negotiations between the United States and China has started in London, with both sides trying to preserve a fragile truce brokered last month. The fresh talks were announced last week after a long-anticipated phone call between US President Donald Trump and Chinese leader Xi Jinping, which appeared to ease tensions that erupted over the past month following a surprise agreement in Geneva. In May, the two sides agreed to drastically roll back tariffs on each other’s goods for an initial 90-day period. The mood was upbeat. However, sentiment soured quickly over two major sticking points:...

Senator Alex Padilla (D-CA) said Monday on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” that President Donald Trump’s administration has an “obsession of being cruel and aggressive.” Padilla said, “This administration has been anything but forthcoming and transparent with information as it pertains to immigration enforcement, not just here in Los Angeles, but since he took office on January 20th and everywhere in between. So it is absolutely frustrating.” He continued, “To say that they’re only targeting violent criminals is false. That’s what has so many people upset. And that and they’re choosing to ignore due process in a lot of these cases as...

Los Angeles was waking up on Monday to another day of high tensions with Donald Trump’s administration after a weekend of protests over immigration raids in the city, with the president controversially ordering in the national guard and the governor of California saying the state planned to sue in response. Federal agents the day before clashed with demonstrators in Los Angeles as police used teargas and “less-lethal munitions” to disperse crowds of people who were mostly peacefully protesting against immigration raids across the city and Trump’s deployment of the California national guard against the will of Governor Gavin Newsom and...

Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum criticized the ICE raids that catalyzed days-long protests in Los Angeles, saying the city "wouldn't be what it is" without migrants. "They migrate out of need and send resources to their families from there," the president added. "Mexicans will always have our backing and demand that their human rights be respected. They must know that, should they wish to return to Mexico, we will welcome them with open arms." The White House said it is circumventing a law usually needed to deploy National Guard troops to a state, which requires a state governor to request it...

Russia launched what Ukraine said would be the largest air assault of the war to date, with nearly 500 missiles and drones airborne, prompting Warsaw to scramble NATO air assets to protect its airspace. Ukraine’s air force said Russia launched 479 drones, four ballistic missiles, and 16 cruise missiles against its territory overnight. If the figures are accurate, it would make Sunday evening the biggest Russian air raid against Ukraine in the course of the over-three-year war to date, and underlines the ability of the combatants to sustain ever-larger drone attacks as the conflict goes on, given Russia launched another...

A group of Dutch citizens staged an unauthorized border control operation this weekend between Ter Apel and the German village of Rütenbrock, citing frustration with what they describe as uncontrolled illegal immigration.Wearing reflective clothing and wielding torches, the group of around 12 men began stopping vehicles on Saturday evening along the N366, a key route between Germany and the Netherlands. The vigilantes, who pulled cars over and even inspected trunks, say they took action because authorities are failing to secure the border and stem the flow of asylum seekers entering the country. “Nothing is happening. Then we’ll do it ourselves,” said...
