Some of the thousands of surface-to-air missiles that have gone missing since the collapse of the Gadhafi regime in Libya have now turned up just miles from the Israeli border. U.S. officials say there were 20,000 Russian-made anti-aircraft missiles in Libya before the uprising, and thousands have disappeared in the looting of Moammar Gadhafi's arm caches. According to the Washington Post, many of those Russian-made anti-aircraft weapons are being sold in Egyptian black markets, and so many are available the price has dropped from $10,000 to $4,000. WASHINGTON – There are persistent reports that U.S.-backed Libyan rebels are killing black Libyans in towns and villages near Tripoli, but the Obama administration and many members of the Congressional Black Caucus remain relatively mute about what human rights groups and eye-witnesses call war crimes and genocide, according to a report from Joseph Farah's G2 Bulletin. An Eritrean priest in Rome, Don Mussje Zerai, who oversees the Habeshia cooperation and development agency, is reporting that murderous atrocities are being committed against non-Arab black Libyans in territories under the control of the US and NATO supported "Libyan freedom fighters." Some 800 Africans were massacred in Misrata alone, as allegedly documented in a number of videos of the Habeshia agency website that depict "cruel episodes and fury on lifeless bodies," which are "manifestation of deep held hate."
