    The individual killed in a US drone strike in Afghanistan is not believed to be a senior ISIS-K official, according to a source quoted by Reuters news agency. The US official added that future action against Islamic State Khorasan has not been ruled out. The American military conduced the drone strike against an ISIS-K member in Afghanistan's Nangahar Province, which borders Pakistan, following a suicide bombing at Kabul airport on Thursday. The strike killed one person and there were no known civilian casualties.
