Children fear the dark as it is scary. They believe it’s filled with monsters and bogeymen. As a child, I always wanted my bedroom door kept open with a light on in the hall. That way I felt safe, at least from the wild rides of my imagination. Such irrational fears disappear when we leave early childhood, yet for some, these fantasies persist into adulthood. For adults, is this a mental illness or just a personality quirk of paranoia and irrational fear? I speak of the political left, including the media, who as seemingly rational and functional adults, still believe...

The world’s richest man stunned Democrats when, only hours after the assassination attempt on President Trump at his Butler, PA rally, he announced that he was endorsing Trump in his re-election bid. ... Elon Musk has claimed that the 2024 presidential election would likely be the last to be decided by US citizens, blaming an “influx” of illegal immigrants being allowed to vote. The South African-born billionaire’s comments on his social media platform, X, came in response to news that Republicans in the House of Representatives passed a bill requiring citizenship status to be added to the ten-yearly census, despite...

MINNEAPOLIS — The nation's highest court has rejected an appeal from MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell. The U.S. Supreme Court has declined Lindell's appeal over the FBI's seizure of his phone. It was taken in 2022 while Lindell was at a Hardee's drive-thru window in Mankato. The U.S. government was investigating accusations of Lindell sharing sensitive voting system information. The case is just one of several recent legal battles for Lindell. In March, a judge evicted MyPillow from a facility in Shakopee after the landlord filed a lawsuit claiming the company was at least $200,000 behind on rent payments. A month...

ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — A federal judge on Wednesday affirmed a $5 million arbitration award against MyPillow chief executive Mike Lindell in favor of a software engineer who challenged data that Lindell said proves China interfered in the 2020 U.S. presidential election and tipped the outcome to Joe Biden. Lindell said he plans to appeal. Asked if he can afford to pay, he pointed out that the breach-of-contract lawsuit was against one of his companies, Lindell Management LLC, and not against him personally. “Of course we’re going to appeal it. This guy doesn’t have a dime coming,” Lindell said.

MINNEAPOLIS -- MyPillow chief executive and prominent election denier Mike Lindell said Friday that Fox News has stopped running his company's commercials, disputing the network's assertion that it is simply because he hasn't paid his bills. Lindell went public by tweeting that Fox, which had been one of MyPillow's biggest advertising outlets, had canceled him. He said in his tweet that he didn't know why but that he suspected that the network was trying to silence him. Fox denied that. Losing Fox was just the latest in a series of financial and legal setbacks for Minnesota-based MyPillow and Lindell, who...

MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell is promising that a new ruling in Georgia will "expose everything" and vindicate those like him who have made claims about election fraud. "This is going to expose everything," Lindell told Steve Bannon on Bannon's War Room podcast Monday. "The judge has opened the door that no man can shut." Earlier this month, District Judge Amy Totenberg, an Obama appointee, issued a ruling that granted a bench trial for a long-running lawsuit seeking to rid Georgia of its electronic voting machines in favor of hand-marked paper ballots. Lindell celebrated Totenberg's ruling, which denied the state's request...

MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell is celebrating last week's ruling on Georgia's voting machines as vindication, countering critics who say he is a conspiracy theorist for promoting claims about election fraud. "Historical ruling by Judge!" Lindell wrote on X, formerly Twitter, on Thursday. "Anyone questioning elections or election machines are not conspiracy theorist!" Newsweek reached out to Lindell via email for comment. U.S. District Judge Amy Totenberg issued a 135-page ruling last Friday in the long-running lawsuit seeking to rid Georgia of its electronic voting machines in favor of hand-marked paper ballots. The lawsuit, filed by individual voters and election security...

VIDEOA couple of years ago, Harvard's white affirmative action student, David Hogg, attempted to enter the real world of business by launching a company called "Good Pillow" as a competitor to MyPillow. During his very brief endeavor that lasted mere weeks Hogg hadn't even bothered to register his company's name as a trademark and someone else grabbed the "Good Pillow" name. Since Hogg discovered that real work was much to be much too burdensome, he chose the much easier path of being a professional grifter. As a result he glommed onto an election grift called "Leaders We Deserve" which apparently...

Attorneys who’ve been defending MyPillow chief executive and election denier Mike Lindell against defamation lawsuits by voting machine companies are seeking court permission to quit, saying he owes them unspecified millions of dollars and can’t pay the millions more that he’ll owe in legal expenses going forward. Attorney Andrew Parker wrote in documents filed in federal court on Thursday that his firm and a second firm representing MyPillow in lawsuits by Smartmatic and Dominion Voting Systems can’t afford what it would cost to represent Lindell and MyPillow through the rest of the litigation. Continuing to defend him would put the...

MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell has admitted he is unable to pay attorneys representing him and his company, after going broke fighting massive defamation suits over his stolen election claims. In a court filing on Thursday, Lindell's attorneys said he owes 'millions of dollars' in unpaid legal fees, and sought to drop him as a client in defamation lawsuits brought by Dominion Voting Systems and Smartmatic USA. The financial fallout from the controversy has been intense for Lindell, after a number of key retail chains severed ties with MyPillow. In July, Lindell told DailyMail.com that his company has lost a staggering...

Mike Lindell said MyPillow was left crippled after American Express slashed their credit line. "No reason, no explanation, just dropped it down last Tuesday," he said on the "War Room" podcast. A Minnesota bank previously terminated Lindell as a client after calling him a "reputation risk." MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell said that his company has been crippled by American Express's decision to slash its credit line. "Steve, we really need everybody's help right now. We have things going on I'm going to let you all know this week," Lindell told fellow Trump ally Steve Bannon on the latter's "War Room"...

Former President Donald Trump's promised press conference to refute the allegations in the indictment handed up by the Fulton County District Attorney's Office is now very much in doubt, multiple sources familiar with the matter tell ABC News. Sources tell ABC News that Trump's legal advisers have told him that holding such a press conference with dubious claims of voter fraud will only complicate his legal problems and some of his attorneys have advised him to cancel it. Trump announced the planned press conference with a social media post shortly after he and 18 co-defendants were indicted late Monday in...

MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell has accused major retailers of being terrified of cancel culture after revealing his company has lost a staggering $100 million since Walmart and Bed Bath & Beyond pulled his products over his false election claims. The polarizing MAGA supporter is now being forced to auction off manufacturing equipment and sublease unused industrial space after distributors tore up contracts due to his claims that the 2020 election was stolen from Donald Trump. Lindell, who promised to pay the $5 million award to anyone who could debunk his data that purportedly proved election fraud, was ordered to pay the sum by a private arbitrator, who ruled that Robert Zeidman, a software expert, successfully disproved Lindell’s claims. “Based on the foregoing analysis, Mr. Zeidman performed under the contract,” the ruling said. “He proved the data Lindell LLC provided, and represented reflected information from the November 2020 election, unequivocally did not reflect November 2020 election data.
