At some point in mid-January, a mouse found his way into my house. This isn't an unusual occurrence. Over the past ten years I've dealt with mice on at least five occasions, including one in which an entire family set up housekeeping behind the kitchen counters. So I know a thing or two about catching mice. Namely, you spot one, set a trap, and wait for the inevitable. It never fails, or so I thought.

Finally using the perfect mouse trap! It is big news up our way that the mice and other rodent population is out of control. It has been horrendous. I have been using snap traps, glue traps, two cats, de-con..... Never enough. I installed them on the buckets, filled the buckets about 1/3 full of water, smeared peanut butter on the roller, and laid three pieces of firewoord with dabs of peanut butter on them against the bucket....

The French have never liked Disneyland Paris, blaming it for a host of cultural ills. Falling attendance, overspending on a new movie-themed park and those cursed terrorists are to blame. This month, it announced it would have trouble repaying its banks and the doomsayers are predicting bankruptcy. Small world: Disneyland Paris aims to bring the famous formula to Europe For those who...

A mouse looked through a crack in the wall to see the farmer and his wife opening a package; what food might it contain? He was aghast to discover that it was a mouse trap! Retreating to the farmyard, the mouse proclaimed the warning, "There is a mouse trap in the house, there is a mouse trap in the house." The chicken clucked and scratched, raised her head and said, "Mr. Mouse, I can tell you this is a grave concern to you, but it is of no consequence to me; I cannot be bothered by it." The mouse turned...
