Instead of reading it as is, i. e. playing the devil's advocate for Hitler fans "palestinians" who he rightfully calls IslamoNazis, the Anti-Israel and often anti-Jewish twisted Haaretz, a long foe of the right, presented Feiglin in a ludicrous light as if he were suicidal which doesn't make sense. Here is the Haaretz piece: "Former Israeli MK Quotes Hitler While Discussing Gaza War. June 16, 2024. — 'As Hitler Said,' Moshe Feiglin Said to Channel 12 News, 'I Can't Live if One Jew Is Left,' We Can't Live Here if One 'Islamo-Nazi' Remains in Gaza." It has been then quoted...

The New Right and Zehut parties have reached an agreement on basic principles for a joint run in this September’s election to the 22nd Knesset. According to a report by Yediot Ahronot Monday, former Likud MK and Zehut chairman Moshe Feiglin and ex-Education Minister and New Right chief Naftali Bennett have laid the foundations for a united ticket, reaching an understanding on key issues. The two reportedly carried out extensive negotiations over the past month, including a number of face-to-face meetings between the two leaders, along with talks between other senior Zehut and New Right party officials. One remaining point...

Naama Adler Bello, a real estate broker and Likud activist from Caesarea, has been pushing over the past few months a political initiative that has been gaining the support of fellow party activists — if not by the official leadership — looking to establish an international fund to facilitate voluntary Arab immigration from Israel, the Palestinian Authority and Gaza, Ha’aretz reported. Adler Bello is not a fan of the term “transfer,†and prefers a more marketable name: a “Listening and Fulfillment†program. Nevertheless, her approach clearly aims to offer the Arabs between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea the...

The Tel Aviv District Court on Sunday rejected an appeal by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's opponents in Likud who asked to postpone the Likud leadership and Knesset primary that is set for Wednesday. The decision by Judge Michal Agmon-Gonen means that the race for both the Knesset and Likud leader will be that day, pending an appeal to the Supreme Court. Agmon-Gonen wrote in her ruling that the decision to hold both races the same day was "reasonable" and would not cause significant harm to the democratic process inside the party. A source close to Likud central committee members who...

An assassination attempt of a rabbi, a provocative visit by an Israeli MP, and a Palestinian leader saying Israeli moves are tantamount to a "declaration of war" have Jerusalem at its most perilous moment since the end of the second intifada. Today Moshe Feiglin walked on the holiest site in Judaism and posed for photos in front of the Dome of the Rock, a revered Muslim shrine that rests wher many believe the Jewish Temple once stood. In doing so the Israeli member of parliament fueled growing Muslim-Jewish tensions around Jerusalem's Temple Mount, which in the past week saw an...

MK Moshe Feiglin (Likud) visited eastern Jerusalem and the Temple Mount on Thursday with members of the Internal Affairs Committee, where he told Arutz Sheva that he is convinced the wave of terror in the capital will only increase in coming days. “The loss of control over Jerusalem, and by continuation also over Gaza, started on the Temple Mount,” Feiglin said, while at the French Hill gas station that Arab rioters tried to explode on Sunday. Feiglin’s comments come in the wake of the dismantling of a new access ramp to the Temple Mount in a folding to Jordanian pressure,...

Deputy Knesset Speaker Feiglin on Iran, Arab Spring, U.S. Aid, and More The New American 20 May 2013 JERUSALEM — Deputy Speaker of the Israeli Knesset (Parliament) Moshe Feiglin, who leads the Manhigut Yehudit (the Jewish Leadership) faction of the ruling Likud Party, spoke to The New American’s Alex Newman in late April during an interview at the Knesset in Jerusalem. (The photo shows MK Feiglin, center, with Newman.) While a controversial figure in Israel and still relatively unknown abroad after his successful election in January, the new lawmaker has developed a strong following among liberty-minded Jews. However, MK...

At a heated Knesset debate Tuesday, MK Moshe Feiglin (Likud-Beytenu) accused the supporters of legislation limiting the carrying of firearms by citizens of a deliberate move to limit citizens’ ability to defend themselves against nationalistic and criminal threats. The Knesset’s Interior Committee convened under the chairmanship of MK David Tzur (Hatnua), was presented with data according to which, in the course of a decade, 12 women had been murdered by their spouses with licensed guns—11 of them with guns held by security guards in institutions and businesses. The bill would require gun holders to be checked by a psychologist every...

Deputy Knesset Chairman MK Moshe Feiglin (Likud) outlined his national plan while in Toronto last Tuesday for Israeli Independence Day, speaking at an event sponsored by the Jewish Defense League and Toronto Zionist Council. Feiglin called for reconnecting the young generation with the knowledge that it is part of a long historical chain from the days of the Patriarch Abraham, and that it is a "light unto the nations" not just in the field of hi-tech, but rather in terms of the values and spiritual message it has for humanity, reports Shalom Toronto. Feiglin's address at the local Chabad synagogue...

Two Arab rioters were arrested Thursday for attempting to attack MK Moshe Feiglin (Likud Beteinu) as he visited the Temple Mount. Hundreds of rioters threw stones at Feiglin and several individuals who accompanied him. Feiglin was forced to leave the site, and police took steps to break up the riot. As a result of the riot, the Temple Mount was closed Thursday morning to Jews and to tourists. Feiglin has been a strong advocate of Jews’ asserting their rights to pray on the Temple Mount, the holiest site in Judaism. Last month, Feiglin initiated a Knesset debate on freedom of...

MK Moshe Feiglin (Likud) on Wednesday confronted MK Ahmed Tibi (Ra’am-Ta’al) at the Knesset over his behavior during Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper’s visit earlier this week. […] Feiglin related to Wednesday’s incident on his Facebook page and wrote, “Today I told Tibi what every sane Israeli feels for him—especially after his lying outburst during the speech of the Knesset’s guest, the Prime Minister of Canada.” He added, “When I—with G-d’s help—will be prime minister, this advisor to the murderer Arafat will be in prison and not in the Israeli Knesset.” …

Deputy Knesset Chairman Moshe Feiglin (Likud) was the only nationalist MK to vote against a bill giving same-sex couples a tax break this week. The bill was voted for by Likud-Beytenu, and Jewish Home Chairman Naftali Bennett. The remaining 11 Jewish Home MKs left the hall to abstain. Only the hareidi-religious parties, Feiglin, and MK Eitan Cabel (Labor) opposed the bill, which was proposed by MK Adi Kol (Yesh Atid). “Again it was proven that only the right is capable of expelling Jews, and only the religious are capable of harming the religion,” Feiglin told Arutz Sheva. …

Deputy Knesset Speaker MK Moshe Feiglin was the only MK from the nationalist camp to vote in favor of MK Yaakov Litzman’s (UTJ) bill requiring 80 MKs to approve any withdrawals from Jerusalem, Israel’s capital. The bill was rejected on Wednesday. Only 12 MKs voted for the bill, all of whom were from the hareidi-religious parties other than Feiglin. Speaking to Arutz Sheva, Feiglin said, “I looked at the empty seats of Likud, Jewish Home, and Yisrael Beytenu, and when their names were called and ‘not present’ was called—I thought to myself, truly the ‘right’ is not present.” …

Israelis who believe the Temple Mount should remain in Israeli hands must take urgent action, Likud MK Moshe Feiglin warned Thursday. Feiglin, who heads the Jewish Leadership faction of the Likud party, visited the Temple Mount on Thursday despite knowing he would find it locked to Jews, as a display of protest. In an “unprecedented” move, police on Wednesday informed Jewish groups that the Temple Mount will be closed to all non-Muslims until at least the end of Ramadan, on 11th August. The announcement has provoked renewed anger over anti-Jewish discrimination on the Temple Mount, and sparked calls by activists...

MK-elect Moshe Feiglin (Likud) has come out against the attempt by Minister Benny Begin (Likud) to pass a highly contested pro-Bedouin decision in the cabinet session Sunday. "Former Minister Benny Begin does not respect the democratic decision that he will not be a minister," accused Feiglin, "and in a desperate last-minute move he is trying to carry out a grab, and get the cabinet to adopt a decision in the serious matter of Bedouin settlement in the Negev." "In his proposal, Begin abandons the Jewish settlement enterprise in the Negev and proves that the rule of law and court decisions...

Tzipi Livni, who chairs the Hatnua party, slammed on Wednesday what she termed "the extremists" in her former party, the Likud. Livni, who visited a bar in Tel Aviv, warned that a coalition between these Likud extremists and the Jewish Home would be a threat to Israel. "Extremists are taking over our lives and if we do not stop them today - we'll end up in a situation that is dangerous for Israel," Livni said. "These extremists are now in the Likud in the form of (Moshe) Feiglin, (Tzipi) Hotovely, (Yariv) Levin and others - they are in the same...

Throughout the centuries there were men who took first steps down new roads armed with nothing but their own vision. Their goals differed, but they all had this in common: that the step was first, the road new, the vision unborrowed, and the response they received - hatred. The great creators... stood alone against the men of their time. Every great new thought was opposed. Every great new invention was denounced. The first motor was considered foolish. The first airplane was considered impossible. The power loom was considered vicious. Anesthesia was considered sinful. But the men of unborrowed vision went...

About a year ago, I saw a Russian television broadcast in which Vladimir Putin, riding a noble steed, reaches the edge of a lake, deftly removes his shirt and in an impressive display of muscle, leans over and washes his face in the crystal clear water. That is when I began to worry. The leader determined to restore the great nation's lost honor and days of glory was playing the macho worship card. It reminded me of an old Italian propaganda film in which Il Duce - Mussolini - is riding in his official car when he sees a farmer...

Dec. 13, 2004 1:21 | Updated Dec. 13, 2004 13:20 Bye-bye, religious parties By ELLIOT JAGER Michael Melchior and Moshe Feiglin make strange bedfellows. Yet in talking to both men last week, I was struck by how much they had in common. They agreed that the era of religious political parties in Israel was coming to a close, that mixing politics and Judaism had been detrimental to civil society, and that an alternative way had to be found to instill Jewish cultural values into the body politic. The Danish-born Melchior is a velvet-yarmulke-wearing Orthodox rabbi and Labor-Meimad Knesset member. But...
