Received a mandatory update (34) alert on my Samsung Galaxy S10e. You can delay the install, but not avoid it. Now all internet access starts from a Google Chrome page. While you can uninstall Google Chrome, you also lose access to Google maps. And those duckduckgo searches you thought were private....uh, no, they are sitting there listed as "recent searches".

I got a call from my wife a short while ago. She got a phone call from the principal at my son's elementary school. He got into a "fight". All I know so far is that during recess he was playing basketball with some other kids and something happened. Evidently one kid kept swiping the ball from my son and he got frustrated and he shoved the other kid. I doubt this was an actual fight with punches thrown. My son is a good kid but I know he sometimes gets frustrated easily. He's competitive when it comes to sports....

Ten people have been killed after part of a cliff collapsed onto leisure boats on a Brazilian lake. Another 32 were injured in the accident in the south-east of the country. Please pray for my 90 year old Mother who was hospitalized from COVID. She's very healthy but since we brought her in for low oxygen levels (84%) she's started to decline. She's quarantined and we're only able to reach her via cell. Doctors put her on Remdisivir and dexamethasone which appears to be the standard FDA script. Hospital staff seem only marginally helpful.
