Biden Administration Halts Settlement Talks On Family Separation, ACLU Says, After Blowback Over Considering $450,000 Payments
The Department of Justice is no longer negotiating to settle lawsuits from migrant families separated at the U.S.-Mexico border under a Trump Administration policy, the American Civil Liberties Union said Thursday, after the Biden Administration drew criticism for reportedly weighing $450,000 payments.
