The Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office is investigating a fatal shooting Saturday night in Needville that happened as more than 100 people gathered to watch a cock fight. The shooting took place at about 10:07 p.m. in the 6600 block of Beard Road when some of the spectators apparently had an argument over who won the fight, authorities said. Jose Alfredo Morales, 32, of Los Fresno was shot in the back area and pronounced dead at the scene.
