It must have really irked Wisconsin Public Radio to report that Sen. Ron Johnson has been declared the winner of his race, giving him his third term in the upper body. However, rather than simply reporting on the Johnson victory, WPR made sure to let their partisan bias reveal itself in some bitter sliming of Johnson.

Boogie Nights star Heather Graham has made an unconventional appeal to Wisconsin voters to elect Democrats in Tuesday’s midterms, citing the state’s “anti-abortion” law as a reason to support candidates including Senate hopeful Mandela Barnes (D) and incumbent Gov. Tony Evers (D). In a short video posted Monday to Twitter, the Hollywood actress wore a cut-off t-shirt reading “I will aid and abet abortion” while shaking her boobs provocatively at the camera. Watch below: “Wisconsin has the oldest anti-abortion law in the country preventing a lot of doctors from providing abortions to women and is one of the tightest races...

Wisconsin Senate candidate Mandela Barnes believes it is “foolish” to think the United States’ wealth was “justly earned,” a resurfaced video from 2021 revealed. “I didn’t even get to the point about Critical Race Theory,” Barnes said in a video released by WKOW ABC over the weekend. “That’s something else too. You know, it would be foolish to assume that the wealth of America was earned justly.” The 2021 event, held by the Portage Area Chamber of Commerce, was advertised as a question and answer session to discuss “issues of racism and systemic racism as they affect rural communities.” “Things...

Wisconsin Senate candidate Democrat Mandela Barnes said in 2018 he believes “reducing prison populations is now sexy,” a video unearthed from the Republican National Committee revealed. “I’m happy we are all talking about it,” Barnes told a group about reducing prison populations. “Now that criminal justice reform and reducing prison populations is now sexy — it’s now a thing that leading candidates are talking about… Because ten years ago people would have run away from this issue.”

Wisconsin Senate candidate Mandela Barnes (D) refused to campaign with President Joe Biden at Milwaukee’s Laborfest campaign event on Labor Day. Barnes’ refusal to be publicly seen with Biden at the presidential campaign event is likely because Biden is deeply unpopular in Wisconsin. Only 41 percent approve of Biden in the Badger State, while 53 percent disapprove, a Civiqs poll found.

MILWAUKEE (AP) — Wisconsin Lt. Gov. Mandela Barnes, a Democrat running for U.S. Senate, logged more than 10 times as many hours of security than his predecessor, an issue that Republican Sen. Ron Johnson is raising in the hotly contested race. *SNIP* Barnes’ increased use of security was an issue early in his term as lieutenant governor, and now Johnson is raising it again in the context of his reelection campaign. Alec Zimmerman, Johnson’s campaign spokesperson, called the rising costs “outrageous and unprecedented.” He said it is hypocritical for the lieutenant governor “to use the State Patrol as his own...

President Joe Biden’s approval rating is underwater in Wisconsin and Pennsylvania, two states the president plans to visit on Labor Day to boost the Democrats’ midterm hopes. Biden announced he will visit the states while polling shows the Senate races are tightening. In Pennsylvania, radical Lt. Gov. John Fetterman (D) is leading Trump-endorsed Dr. Mehmet Oz (R) by about 5 points. Polling is a bit tighter in Wisconsin, where radical Lt. Gov. Mandela Barnes is leading Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) by 2 points.

Wisconsin Senate Democrat candidate Mandela Barnes claimed last July that national parks “weren’t made for the enjoyment of people who weren’t white.” Speaking on the “Black Oxygen” podcast, Barnes suggested national parks are a part of the systemically racist fabric of America because the “parks are on land that was indigenous.” “It’s important to create more welcoming spaces because things haven’t always felt welcome,” he said. “And that’s historical, just that perspective, given the fact that national parks weren’t made for the enjoyment of people who weren’t white. National parks are on land that was indigenous.”

Senate Democrat candidate Mandela Barnes has a far-left record that mirrors Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s (D-NY) political agenda as he looks to defeat Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) in the swing state of Wisconsin in November. While Wisconsin voted to elect President Joe Biden in 2020 by less than one percent (49.4-48.8 percent), Barnes is campaigning as a Democrat but has served as a “long-time leader” of the Working Families Party. The organization has positioned itself as a “national left-wing organization responsible for supporting and mainstreaming the most radical ideas and politicians in America,” 1130 WSIN reported.

Democrats are fighting tooth and nail to hold on to their ultra-narrow Senate majority this year in a midterm election cycle that has several of the party’s most vulnerable incumbents facing voters amid rising inflation and surging gas prices. Republicans need to net just one new seat this year to reclaim control of the upper chamber. Still, Democrats are more optimistic about their chances of holding their Senate majority than they are their House majority and are eyeing several opportunities to flip GOP-held seats.

Wisconsin Lt. Governor, Mandela Barnes: Wisconsin Lt. Gov. Mandela Barnes said Monday the police shooting of a Black man by Kenosha officers "wasn't an accident," after the man was shot seven times in the back "in front of his children." "This wasn't bad police work," Barnes said in an address Monday. "This felt like some sort of vendetta taken out on a member of our community." Speaking alongside Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers, Barnes said "the irony isn't lost on me that Jacob Blake was actually trying to deescalate a situation in his community, but the responding officer didn't feel the...

There is a lot that is still unknown about the police-involved shooting in Kenosha, Wisconsin, with Jacob Blake. When officers were called to the house, the dispatcher told them Blake wasn’t “supposed to be there and he took the complainant’s keys and is refusing to give them back” and that a wanted alert came up for him. Blake, it turns out, had a warrant out for his arrest related to a domestic case from May. As the National Review reported, not much is known at this time about how Blake’s interaction with police escalated.

For the third year in a row President Donald Trump is shunning the annual White House Correspondents' Dinner for a campaign rally, his first since the release of special counsel Robert Mueller's report into Russian interference in the 2016 election. The president will rally with supporters in Green Bay, Wisconsin, for what his re-election campaign says is his 18th rally overall in the state since he announced his first presidential bid in June 2015. Trump's victory in Wisconsin in 2016 marked the first time a Republican presidential candidate won the state since the mid-1980s, and will be hotly contested in...
