METTAWA -- A Highland Park woman has been charged with battery in connection with yelling at a man in a store, claiming to have COVID-19 and spitting in his face, police said. On June 16, 2020, Lake County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to a retail store in the 25900 block of Riverwoods Road, Mettawa, for a report of a battery.
