Teachers and other staffers woking at Middleton Heights Elementary School in Middleton, Idaho are under investigation by the school district after wearing Halloween costumes to class that Superintendent Josh Middleton called "clearly insensitive and inappropriate." As local station KTVB reports, two since-deleted photos initially posted to the school district's Facebook page depict a group of staffers in the problematic costumes. Shannon Reinard tells The Daily Item her 11-year-old stepdaughter, Mary, asked Shikellamy Middle School teacher Benjamin Attinger for help writing the letter to the former presidential candidate. She wrote the letter and Attinger addressed it Hiliar Rodham Clinton. Her stepmom noticed the misspelling and in a voicemail the teacher said it was "kind of a joke." An eighth-grade teacher claims that she was fired after refusing to adhere to a school policy that banned marks lower than 50 percent, even when students handed in no work. Photos surfaced on Facebook of staff at an elementary school in Middleton, Idaho, dressing as Mexicans and President Trump’s proposed border wall along with the saying, “Make America Great Again,” and waving American flags.
