Dave Schippers, author of SELLOUT and the man chosen by Henry Hyde to prosecute the Clinton impeachment, returned my call after he got back from court this morning. For the record, Schippers was a lifelong Democrat and had twice voted for Clinton. In a previous interview, he had told me that when Hyde called him to work on the case, he only expected to have a couple weeks of work.
