KINSHASA (Reuters) - Police in Congo have arrested 13 suspected sorcerers accused of using black magic to steal or shrink men's penises after a wave of panic and attempted lynchings triggered by the alleged witchcraft. Reports of so-called penis snatching are not uncommon in West Africa, where belief in traditional religions and witchcraft remains widespread, and where ritual killings to obtain blood or body parts still occur. Director of veterinary services Tom Meehan says the wolf likely lost its leg in some sort of accident before the zoo opened that day. Zookeepers searched the exhibit yesterday but couldn't find the missing leg. Meehan says it was a clean break in the middle of its lower leg.

In April, I wrote about Sadeq Naji Ahmed, a TSA screener in Detroit, who was dismissed from the Air Force for praising Bin Laden, the 9/11 attacks, and future attacks on America--but then hired by the TSA to screen bags at Metro Detroit Airport. The latest, Bassam Khalaf, a just-fired screener at Houston's Bush Intercontinental Airport, is a Palestinian rapper who praises terrorism, flying planes into buildings, and describes himself as a "crazy, suicidal Arabic . . . equipped with bombs."...

Springfield, IL (LifeNews.com) -- Just over ten years ago, the world's attention was focused on the bizarre case of John and Lorena Bobbitt. Lorena stood trial for the "malicious wounding" of her husband's manhood with an eight-inch long kitchen knife. Following an eleven-day trial, Lorena was acquitted on grounds of temporary insanity. Now, an organization that monitors the physical and psychological effects of abortion is releasing a new report explaining that Lorena wasn't simply an abused wife striking back at her husband. Instead, according to the Elliot Institute, Lorena was suffering post-traumatic stress from a forced abortion. "All the evidence...
