New York real estate developer Donald Trump beat out his Republican rivals in America’s most Latin city Tuesday. Webb County, Texas is home to Laredo, where 96 percent of its residents consider themselves Hispanic. Laredo makes up 95 percent of the population in Webb County and is the county seat. It has the most Hispanics per capita of any city with more than 100,000 residents.

Two sources inside the Laredo Police Department confirmed the incident is unfolding and they would continue to coordinate with U.S. Border Patrol today. “We consider this an act of war,” said one police officer on the ground near the scene. Police arrest three suspects - Laredo police bomb squad investigators continue investigations into an incident involving a grenade that exploded inside a home in the 500 block of North Stone on Sunday. As of Tuesday evening, three adults had been arrested and two juveniles had been detained in connection with the case. Police said the suspects will face drug-related federal charges. NUEVO LAREDO - Two young men died in a hail of bullets over the weekend, keeping the Sister City at a rate of nearly one homicide per day since the start of the New Year. Police identified the victims as Leopoldo Moreno García, 21, and Eleazar Muñoz Pérez, 20, both of Nuevo Laredo. Residents of the Palacios neighborhood on the city's west side called C-4, the city's emergency headquarters, at about 11 p.m. Saturday to report sounds of gunfire.
