Lockdown measures used by governments worldwide to reduce the death toll from the pandemic had little or no impact on COVID-19 mortality, according to three researchers who analyzed 24 studies. The researchers, led by Steve Hanke, the co-founder of The Johns Hopkins Institute for Applied Economics, Global Health, and the Study of Business Enterprise, screened 18,590 studies to select the 24 papers used for the final analysis. They concluded that lockdowns in Europe and the United States reduced the mortality from COVID-19 by 0.2 percent on average. Shelter-in-place orders reduced mortality by 2.9 percent on average, they found.“While this meta-analysis concludes that...

A little over a year ago, I wrote,[I]t is now clear that, whatever health risks the Wuhan virus presents, they pale in comparison to the social, mental, economic, and spiritual carnage wrought by the foolish political actions -- and subsequent foolish private actions -- that tragically followed the Wuhan virus into the U.S. As many warned, including President Trump, for the Wuhan virus, the “cure” has indeed been worse than the disease. In other words, most of the suffering in America today is not due to the Wuhan virus, but rather to our foolish and widespread reaction to the Wuhan virus....

Had Enough of Covid? Then I Have Great NewsJoseph MercolaJanuary 29, 2022 Updated: January 29, 2022CommentaryFor nearly a year, experts have noted that the COVID shots cannot establish herd immunity to end the pandemic, as the gene transfer injections do not prevent infection or transmission. It’s not rocket science, yet health officials and government leaders around the world have irrationally claimed otherwise, and censored any and all—regardless of credentials—who dared to suggest alternative approaches. Now, all of a sudden, the narrative is rapidly changing, with loads of these same individuals—truthfully, if you can believe that—acknowledging that the COVID “vaccines” cannot end the...

Canada has taken yet another step toward authoritarianism by banning unvaccinated citizens from entering stores and other establishments without first showing proof of vaccination and a government-issued ID card. Canadians have been informed that only fully vaccinated individuals may enter stores such as IKEA, Walmart, Costco or any other large retailer, according to CBC News. The ministerial decree covers stores which are 16,146 square feet or larger, and excludes grocery stores, pharmacies and gas stations. The government also insisted that this rule is only aimed at encouraging more people to get vaccinated. Authorities in Quebec instituted further rules for the...

Ian Smith, co-owner of New Jersey-based Atilis Gym, was sentenced Thursday after refusing to close his gym during the Garden State’s lockdown and resisting all orders from the state. The defiant gym owner was fined $1.2 million for his noncompliance but he never backed down, going so far as to remove the gym’s doors so police couldn’t lock them. “Thanks to all who joined in on our sentencing hearing. So many came that the server crashed. We got one year probation for the crime of taking our doors off to prevent government goons from locking us out of our gym....

Amid reporting on a variety of studies that find a direct causal relationship between an increase in deaths in countries with higher levels of vaccinations, seemingly countless Americans are now expressing regret they ever took the COVID vaccine. Thousands of individuals across social media have come out expressing regret over taking the COVID vaccine. The vaccines have not stopped the lockdowns, they have not stopped people from feeling sick, and they have not stopped the travel restrictions. The vaccines, however, have made many people rich, while causing hundreds of thousands of victims to develop incurable vaccine-related ailments. Below is a...

Eric Clapton has claimed that anyone who has taken the Covid vaccine is a victim of 'mass formation hypnosis'. The singer, 76, previously claimed he suffered alarming side effects after his AstraZeneca jabs and released ant-lockdown single Stand And Deliver with Van Morrison in 2020. In a new interview for The Real Music Observer YouTube channel, Eric has claimed that that subliminal messaging hidden in advertising led people to get the jab.

After dealing with the ups and downs of the COVID pandemic for almost two years, many Christians across the country are back in the pews attending worship services once again. But just as the pandemic affected churches' attendance and finances, it has also left its mark in a different way – some of the faithful have left the church they attended before the rise of COVID to attend a new congregation. The pandemic propelled people toward life changes of all kinds over the past two years, including career shifts, new relationships, and relocation. And that includes new churches too. More...

The editors of the Danish newspaper Ekstra Bladet apologized for "thoughtlessly regurgitating the official government narrative on covid without ever questioning the validity of the content. We got swept up in the 'end-of-the-world' hysteria that led to bogus claims that 'science' required the incoherent and authoritarian measures that ruined millions of livelihoods, cost trillions of dollars, and encouraged vicious hatred of the scapegoats designated by government health authorities and politicians." "Good journalism emanates from skepticism," the editors wrote. "If we are to avert a further decline into insanity we must return to this foundation of our business. A self-governing people...

If you had any hopes that the mainstream media was slowly beginning to realize that people don’t like pandemic mandates that impinge on their personal freedoms and might back off from such authoritarian notions, you may safely put those hopes aside. Or at least that’s the case with the Salt Lake Tribune newspaper in Utah. While others have been gradually looking at ways to return life to normal now that there are vaccines and other treatments available to keep the worst of the COVID threat under control, the editorial board at the Tribune recently veered off in the opposite direction....

NBC News had a curious analysis of the COVID situation in Australia yesterday, literally describing the nation’s current approach to the Omicron surge as a “let COVID rip” policy. We’ll address how accurate that description might be in a moment, but the numbers being produced in the land down under are similar to those in many other countries currently watching the Omicron variant spread like wildfire. After an extended period where Australians were locked down as if they were in a gulag, they finally hit their vaccination targets late last year and all but one of the Australian states largely...

There is a certain level of madness required to reach the state our country is in today. I think most of us feel this and know this but I want to dissect the situation a little so that we can see the guts of the thing and understand the mechanics of it. Insanity has a structure, believe it or not, and there are ways to analyze it and identify it. For example, there are many forms of madness that stem from an obsession with power and control. In my previous article ‘Is There A Way To Prevent Psychopaths From Getting...

A mother who has never smoked and blamed her persistent cough on Covid was devastated after learning she has terminal lung cancer. Becky Davis, 36, from Redditch, Worcestershire developed a cough at the start of 2020 but as the pandemic struck, became convinced she was suffering with Covid-19. The single mum was blindsided in July 2020 when doctors revealed that her symptoms were down to a rare form of cancer, which chemotherapy is not effective against. She desperately wants more time with her daughter Lexi, six, and is combining targeted therapy on the NHS with a form of specialist radiotherapy...

Labor shortages at supermarkets across the country have increased in recent weeks as the COVID-19 omicron variant continues to spread. Workers are calling sick, and there are not enough cashiers, baggers, and stockers, forcing some supermarket chains to slash hours of operations. Compounding labor woes, supply chains are still severely snarled as food shortages are being reported nationwide. WSJ reports supermarkets are having difficulty staying open as workers call out sick because of infection. Some grocers are frantically hiring new employees, using temporary employment agencies, and overworking current staff to keep stores from shuttering. The seven-store supermarket chain Stew Leonard’s...

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) said Thursday that he disagreed with then-President Trump’s decision to shut down the economy at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. DeSantis appeared on conservative podcast Ruthless, where he claimed that one of his biggest regrets in office is not speaking out “much louder” against the initial COVID-19 shutdown in March 2020.
