Zhang Sengyou was a court painter during the Six Dynasties period. He was active from 490 A.D. to 540 A.D. Besides being the director of the imperial library, and in charge of all painting related affairs for Emperor Wu of Liang, Zhang Sengyou held high military and administrative positions. His work is considered one of the four standards of traditional Chinese painting. The music is Qupai Lianzou - Qupai Legato, from the Taoist Music Orchestra.

NEW YORK (AP) -- A rookie police officer who shot an unarmed man dead in a darkened public housing stairwell was convicted Thursday of manslaughter in a case closely watched by advocates for police accountability. The courtroom audience gasped and Officer Peter Liang, who had broken into tears as he testified about the 2014 shooting of Akai Gurley, buried his head in his hands as the verdict came after 17 hours of jury deliberations. The manslaughter charge carries up to 15 years in prison. Liang's sentencing is set for April 14.

LOS ANGELES (AP) - A federal judge sentenced a woman to 2 1/2 years in prison Monday for trying to export missile and fighter jet parts to her native China. In a deal with prosecutors, Xiuwen Liang, 34, pleaded guilty in 2003 to conspiracy to export defense items and attempted unlawful export. Her husband, 35-year-old Jinghua Zhuang, pleaded guilty to the same charges and also was sentenced to 2 1/2 years in prison in December 2003. Liang, who has been free on bail, must surrender by May. The seven defendants were charged at the end of a five-year investigation into the illegal shipping of sensitive weapons, including parts used in surface-to-air missiles and fighter aircraft, prosecutors revealed. All seven, including two people of Chinese origin, were based in the Los Angeles area and allegedly attempted to export parts for weapons such as the AIM-9 "Sidewinder" heat-seeking anti-aircraft missile to China.
