Yes, the headline is just a bit hyperbolic, but only a bit. Pedophilia will remain illegal in Connecticut, but non-practicing pedophiles (do such people actually exist, or are they simply not-yet-arrested pedophiles?) may soon become a protected class in the state.I’ve written about the battle over changing human rights laws in Connecticut before, in two separate articles. The first is on the law itself, and the second is on a gay rights activist who has joined the battle to defeat the law.Well, the law has moved forward despite a significant battle in which even some Republicans have joined the radical...

Sen. Ted Cruz did a masterly takedown of a radical left-wing magistrate judge in a line of questions over her decision to place a 6 foot 2 inch transgender 'woman' with full male genitalia convicted of child rapes and passing child pornography into a women's prison after she dismissed warnings from prison officials. The exchange can be seen here: Absolute FIRE line of questioning from @SenTedCruz today 🔥🔥🔥 bravo! U.S. District Court Judge Aleta A. Trauger sided with the Tennessee Star last month, in seeking all the written documents from shooter Audrey Hale, which resulted in the deaths of three students and three faculty members. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The FBI has turned over writings from the Covenant school shooter to a federal judge, including the killer’s manifesto, which will be read privately by the judge. Star News Digital Media Inc., the parent company of The Tennessee Star, sued the FBI in May claiming the bureau had violated the First Amendment by rejecting multiple Freedom of Information Act requests for the Covenant...

An Irondale man was taken into custody Wednesday on a federal indictment accusing him of detonating an explosive device outside the Alabama Attorney General’s Office. Kyle Benjamin Douglas Calvert, 26, is charged with malicious use of an explosive and possession of an unregistered destructive device. Charging documents against him say he also placed stickers on state buildings at the same time of the bombing depicting different graphics advocating for various political ideologies. Some included the phrase “Support your local antifa.” Antifa, short for Anti-Fascist, does not describe a particular group, but rather describes individuals who adhere to what they consider...

Our society has gone off the rails. In Green Bay, Wisconsin at the National Railroad Museum, the annual Festival of Trees just kicked off, and because the left ruins everything, what was once pure and wholesome is now demonic and Satanic—literally. Every holiday season, the establishment displays dozens of uniquely decorated Christmas trees contributed by local groups, but this year’s exhibit is particularly controversial due to the inclusion of Satanic and “transgender” trees thanks to “activists.” Adorning the transgender-themed tree are transgender flags and ornaments, with the movement’s over-used euphemisms (“Protect Trans Kids”), and was contributed by the Bay Area...

A museum in Britain has decided that a Roman Emperor was actually transgender and has decided to change his pronouns in their displays. I’m not sure this was the wisest move on their part, not only because the idea is rather silly, but because the emperor in question is widely regarded as one of the very worst that Rome ever had, and that is saying something. 🔴 Roman Emperor was trans, Hertfordshire museum declares The ill-fated Elagabalus will now be referred to as 'she', although experts say a transgender category did not exist in ancient Rome ⬇ https://t.co/b1S8KFYTcP— The Telegraph...

Babylon Bee CEO Seth Dillon talked to us about being censored for a joke. You’ll never guess what happened next. Last year, the Babylon Bee was censored for naming Rachel Levine its ‘Man of the Year’. Now, the David Horowitz Freedom Center has been banned over a speech about that joke. On Friday afternoon, Seth Dillon, the gregarious leader of the Babylon Bee, took the floor to tell attendees at the Center’s Restoration Weekend about his fight against censorship. When USA Today named Rick ‘Rachel’ Levine, a transgender Biden administration official, as one of its ‘Women of the Year’, the...

In a press conference at what appeared to be the press room for the Southern Baptist Convention’s Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission (ERLC), president Brent Leatherwood made an impassioned plea for continued censorship of remaining evidence collected from deceased Covenant School shooter Aubrey Hale, stating, “Parents and families came together to prevent this exact moment from happening,” and yet Stephen Crowder and other outlets who shared the pages “allowed this woman who terrorized our family with bullets, to be able to now terrorize us with words from the grave.” Leatherwood, a parent of Covenant School children, has been vocally against...

As you know, Appellate Court Judge Kyle Duncan was invited to speak at Stanford by the school's chapter of the Federalist Society. He was ambushed by the fascists by the Stanford Chapter of the National Lawyers Guild When I arrived, the walls were festooned with posters denouncing me for crimes against women, gays, blacks and “trans people.” Plastered everywhere were photos of the students who had invited me and fliers declaring “You should be ASHAMED,” with the last word in large red capital letters and a horror-movie font. This didn’t seem “collegial.” Walking to the building where I would deliver...

WASHINGTON — Stanford University law professor Pamela Karlan, best known for her 2019 testimony in favor of impeaching then-President Donald Trump, quietly left the Justice Department this month as a conservative group ratcheted up attacks on an “unethical” arrangement in which she continued to earn nearly $1 million a year from Stanford while working for the government. Karlan joined the department on Feb. 8, 2021, shortly after President Biden’s inauguration, and served about 17 months as principal deputy assistant attorney general for civil rights before she departed on July 1 with little fanfare. Karlan’s role was slated to last until...

The following is adapted from a talk delivered on September 12, 2023, at the Allan P. Kirby, Jr. Center for Constitutional Studies and Citizenship on Hillsdale’s Washington, D.C., campus, as part of the AWC Family Foundation Lecture Series. The transgender movement is pressing its agenda everywhere. Most publicly, activist teachers are using classrooms to propagandize on its behalf and activist health professionals are promoting the mutilation of children under the euphemistic banner of “gender-affirming care.” The sudden and pervasive rise of this movement provokes two questions: where did it come from, and how has it proved so successful? The story...

Ever since David Horowitz broke from the radical left back in the 1980s, he has been trying to warn conservatives that they don’t really understand the core principle of the left, and the depths of the left’s power-mad depravity. Conservatives too often think that the Israel-Palestine conflict, or civil rights, crime, income inequality, transgender ideology, climate change, etc, etc., are discrete issues to be argued against the left with reason and facts. To which Horowitz replies: The issue is not the issue—the issue is revolution! (And a key corollary is: the more violent, the better. Hence the approval and celebration...

Chicago has reportedly taken meetings with illegal alien advocates from St. Louis, Missouri, about a deal to ship thousands of border crossers from the Windy City to the Gateway City. St. Louis Mayor Tishaura Jones (D) recently launched the city’s “Office of New Americans” with an eye toward helping illegals settle in the city on the Ohio River, and now several advocacy groups in St. Louis are nudging Chicago officials to open up the spigot, according to the Chicago Sun-Times. The nonprofit International Institute of St. Louis is one organization asking Chicago’s city hall to consider shipping illegals south to...

Just in case you're feeling too cheerful, here are ten more statistics to make you consider emigrating to Mars: 1. The White House on Sunday condemned a conservative social media activist for ridiculing an openly-gay Interior Department official on the site X, describing her posts as “cruel and unacceptable.” Chaya Raichik, who created the @libsoftiktok account on X, formerly known as Twitter, sparked a debate online this week after posting and reposting several times about Tyler Cherry, Interior’s principal deputy communications director. The posts appeared to criticize his appearance, referred to him as one of the “total weirdos” the Biden administration has hired, laughed at photos of him in a dress that the New York Times published in a piece...

BOSTON — The revelation last week that a laboratory slip-up led three Boston University scientists to become infected with tularemia, a flulike disease sometimes referred to as "rabbit fever," has fueled criticism of a plan to build a state-of-the-art research lab to study some of the world's most lethal germs in Boston's South End.

SALTILLO, Mexico – Gabby and Ana are in love. So are Marco Antonio and Juan Carlos. Under a sweeping new law allowing same-sex couples to form civil unions, they are planning to turn their love into a legal commitment. Legislators in the dusty northern border state of Coahuila have stunned Mexico by giving same-sex couples property and inheritance rights long reserved for married heterosexuals. It is a first for this predominantly Roman Catholic country, a measure so swift and so bold that it surprised even the gay community. All of a sudden, gay rights are on the national agenda. Since...

NATO is "actively addressing" multiple IT security incidents after a hacktivist group claimed it once again breached some of the military alliance's websites, this time stealing what's claimed to be more than 3,000 files and 9GB of data. When asked about this alleged intrusion, a NATO official declined to answer specific questions and told The Register: NATO is facing persistent cyber threats and takes cyber security seriously. NATO cyber experts are actively addressing incidents affecting some unclassified NATO websites. Additional cyber security measures have been put in place. There has been no impact on NATO missions, operations and military deployments....
