An illegal alien from Sierra Leone with over thirty arrests was charged with murder this week in the fatal stabbing of a Northern Virginia woman at a bus stop on a busy highway in the Hybla Velley area of Fairfax County just south of Alexandria last Monday evening. Police say Abdul Jalloh, 32, rode on the same bus as Stephanie Minter, 41, and was seen getting off the bus with her. Soon afterward police were called to the scene where Minter was found with multiple stab wounds to her upper body.

An El Salvadoran man alleged to be a member of the Surenos gang living in Los Angeles who was convicted of murder and other violent crimes is being protected from deportation by the Trump administration because of a December 2024 Biden Department of Justice ruling protecting the killer from being sent back to El Salvador over fears of torture, and a 2025 nationwide injunction by a federal judge delaying deputations to third party countries.

The sound of automatic gunfire was heard in the upper northwest neighborhood of Vann Ness in Washington, D.C. Friday afternoon. Police report at least three people wounded: Two adults and one juvenile female.
