KANSAS CITY, Mo — American Airlines flight 1775 had to make an emergency landing at MCI this afternoon. The flight was headed from Los Angeles to Washington D.C. when an unruly passenger tried to cause chaos mid-flight. According to another passenger on the plane, Mouaz Moustafa, some aboard weren’t initially aware of what was going on. “A flight attendant comes to the middle of the plane where I am, yells to another flight attendant in the back to turn on the lights. On Saturday morning just before 9am, KCMO police were called to the Bank of America, 8320 North Oak Trafficway, in regard to a shooting. Upon arrival officer's located a black male (approx. 20yrs old) in the parking lot suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. He was transported to a local hospital in critical condition. It appears he was attempting to rob two victim's at gunpoint near the ATM when one of the victim's brandished a handgun and shot him in self defense. In contrast to the recent shootings at Virinia Tech, the Kansas City, Missouri Police responding to the shooting in Kansas City the other day ran in to the mall and took care of business. KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Exterminators began sweeping a Kansas City neighborhood infested with rats after one of the rodents crawled into a baby's crib and severely disfigured the girl's face. Authorities said the girl's parents put her in a crib next to their bed early Sunday and awoke a few hours later, when a heart and breathing monitor alarm went off. The 4-week-old baby, which had been born prematurely, was lying in a pool of blood with her nose and part of her upper lip chewed off. The parents found rat feces in the crib.
