NBC News accused Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of perjury in a Monday article before editing the piece with additional context that disproved their own claim. NBC reported Monday evening that Kavanaugh was seeking out friends to refute the claims of his second accuser, Deborah Ramirez, before her allegations were published in The New Yorker on Sept. 23. The report suggested that Kavanaugh was lying under oath when he said the first time he heard about Ramirez’s allegation was in The New Yorker. “The texts show Kavanaugh may need to be questioned about how far back he anticipated that Ramirez...

I was falsely accused of having an affair and fathering a child with a woman I never met. A WOMAN I NEVER MET. I am a reasonably locally-prominent person. I had the misfortune of being on the front page of a local paper one day when a lady I'd never met gave birth. I gave a lot of money to a school. She saw me on the paper. She saw I was wealthy and reasonably important. So when the clerk came in with the birth certificate form to fill out, she put my name. She went on welfare and concocted...

A federal judge has approved a request to tightly control how evidence is shared with a Russian company accused of funding an Internet trolling operation to mislead American voters in the 2016 election. The dispute over how to protect sensitive materials from disclosure had threatened to stall prosecution of the sole defendant to appear in court to face charges in the indictment of Russian entities under special counsel Robert S. Mueller III. U.S. District Judge Dabney L. Friedrich of the District of Columbia said Friday that federal prosecutors gave “ample good cause” that identifying sources in the probe could tip...

Yesterday I wrote about an anonymous allegation about Brett Kavanaugh which had been sent to Sen. Cory Gardner last week. The brief letter (which you can see here) claimed that back in 1998, Brett Kavanaugh shoved a woman he was dating at the time up against a wall in an “aggressive and sexual” manner after leaving a bar in Washington, DC. Last night, a federal judge named Dabney Friedrich responded to a request from a lawyer for the Judiciary Committee saying she dated Kavanaugh in 1998 but that no such incident ever happened. From National Journal:

Heartless people just doxxed Orrin Hatch while he was speaking and his poor wife has been receiving calls nonstop ON HER BIRTHDAY and their home address was made public. This is how low they will go. Absolutely disgusting. Update: Lindsey Graham, Orrin Hatch, and Mike Lee were all targeted and doxxed with their information published on Wikipedia while they were speaking during the Kavanaugh hearing. A source I just spoke with explained Orrin's wife has been receiving nonstop calls and it's her birthday.

A day before the eagerly awaited appearance of embattled U.S. Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh and one of his female accusers before the Senate Judiciary Committee, Sen. Jeff Merkley wants to call a time-out. The Oregon Democrat later today will ask a federal judge for an injunction that will stop the Senate Republicans' hurry-up plan to vote on Kavanaugh's nomination as soon as possible. Merkley asserts he's been prevented from doing his job of thoroughly reviewing Kavanaugh's qualifications. Merkley's complaint has more to do with the 100,000 pages of Kavanaugh-related documents withheld by the Trump administration than with complaints of...

WASHINGTON - Republican senators have selected Arizona prosecutor Rachel Mitchell to question Judge Brett Kavanaugh and the woman who has accused the Supreme Court nominee of sexually assaulting her when they were teenagers, a top senator announced Tuesday. Mitchell, the sex crimes bureau chief for the Maricopa County Attorney's Office in Phoenix, will query the two at Thursday's highly anticipated Senate Judiciary Committee hearing. A registered Republican, Mitchell has worked for the Maricopa County Attorney's Office for 26 years. The division Mitchell heads deals with family violence, physical and sexual abuse of children, and sex offenses, including sex assault cases....

I stand athwart the streamroller of sexual misconduct complaints that crush the innocent, end marriages, and destroy careers. In the Me Too era, I am an employment attorney in the politically incorrect vocation of defending who must pay if misconduct is found. My skin is thick, and I do not melt when asked, “How dare you!” I dare because I do not want the innocent to be wrongly punished. I know it’s a very unfashionable to advocate on behalf of the presumption of innocence, and I am often reminded of how insensitive and outdated the principle is in today’s climate....

GOP Sen. Susan Collins (Maine), a critical swing vote in the Supreme Court fight, said on Monday that she believed a woman accusing Brett Kavanaugh of sexual misconduct should speak with Senate staff under oath. "I believe that the committee investigators should reach out to Deborah Ramirez to question her under oath about what she is alleging happened," Collins told reporters, when asked what she made of the latest allegation against Kavanaugh. Asked if she believed Ramirez should appear at a Judiciary Committee hearing scheduled for Thursday, Collins added that she didn't. "No because there hasn't even been an interview...

Senate Judiciary Committee Minority Leader Dianne Feinstein finally released what she says is the original letter to her from Kavanaugh accuser Christine Ford. The letter was first sent to the California Democrat in July. Feinstein or her staff leaked the letter to the press last week. On Sunday she finally released the letter to Majority leader Senator Chuck Grassley (R-IA). Senate Judiciary Cmte. Chairman Grassley released the original letter that Christine Ford first sent to Senator Feinstein on Sunday night. The font in the second paragraph does not match with the rest of the letter. Paul Sperry noticed the discrepancy...

As Guy wrote, fired Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe raked in more than $500,000 from leftist sympathizers this week after setting up a legal fund and blasting President Trump. As a reminder, McCabe was fired by Attorney General Jeff Sessions after the FBI Office of Professional Responsibility and the DOJ Inspector General recommended he be terminated for a lack of candor. But it turns out, McCabe's pay day wasn't a result of a grassroots effort to defend him against false attacks. The GoFundMe page was set up by a Washington, D.C. lobbying firm connected to President Barack Obama. From Law...

Statement from Debra Katz: "As Dr. Ford has said, she did not share her story publicly or with anyone for years following the incident with Judge Kavanaugh. It’s not surprising that Ms. Keyser has no recollection of the evening as they did not discuss it....” 1/2 .. It’s also unremarkable that Ms. Keyser does not remember attending a specific gathering 30 years ago at which nothing of consequence happened to her. Dr. Ford of course will never forget this gathering because of what happened to her there.” 2/2

This is an formal survey. Gents, you'll see why it's women only. Ladies, it doesn't matter if you believe Dr. Ford or not. Do you think she is asking for extra special handling because she is a woman? Do you think she is being treated differently because she is a woman? You can say if you believe her or not, but the real questions are above.

Grassley agreesto give Ford more time.

WHY CHRISTINE BLASEY FORD’S HIGH SCHOOL YEARBOOKS WERE SCRUBBED: Faculty Approved Racism, Binge Drinking and Promiscuity On Monday Sept. 17th, Christine Blasey Ford’s high school yearbooks suddenly disappeared from the web. I read them days before, knew they would be scrubbed, and saved them. Why did I know they would be scrubbed? Because if roles were reversed, and Christine Blasey Ford had been nominated for the Supreme Court by President Trump, the headline by the resistance would be this: CHRISTINE BLASEY FORD AND THE DRUNKEN WHITE PRIVILEGED RACIST PLAYGIRLS OF HOLTON-ARMS. And it would be an accurate headline. That’s why...

In the whirlwind of maneuvers being performed on Capitol Hill over the course of the last few hours, one can get a bit lost. Trending: Democratic Dunce Calls for “Something to Happen” to POTUS! As it stands now, Dr. Christine Blasey-Ford has refused to testify in front of Congress to publicly declare her allegations against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh are true. Ford is demanding that the FBI investigate the incident first, in order to have all relevant information available. The only problem is that the FBI has denied her request on multiple occasions over the last 24 hours, as...

Senate Republicans on Monday signaled they are ready to move forward with a vote on Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh if the woman accusing him of sexual assault, Christine Blasey Ford, fails to show up to a hearing on Monday. Republicans believe Ford’s surprise refusal to testify at the special hearing, where she and Kavanaugh have been invited to appear as the only two witnesses, has given them an upper hand in a public relations battle with Senate Democrats. It has emboldened the GOP to press ahead with a vote as soon as next week, despite Ford’s stunning allegation that...
