Whenever the mainstream media awards a participation trophy to the loser of an election, it is sure bet they are awarding it to a Democrat. Such was the case with the June 17 Politico which awarded a participation trophy to Jason Kander who lost the 2016 U.S. Senate race from Missouri. No matter. We had some good times following the exploits of Kansas carpetbagger Jason Kander as he attempted to win the Senate seat held by Roy Blunt. That effort came up short on November 8th however, and now Jason is going to be looking for a new job. Unless he has some hidden skills in heating and air conditioning which he could put to use at Carrier, that means it will most likely be something in politics. Jason Kander flew down to Georgia on Wednesday, helping out with fellow Jewish Democrat Jon Ossoff’s campaign for an open House seat. Kander almost flipped a Missouri Senate seat last fall, when he came within three points of defeating the Republican incumbent - a remarkable feat given that Hillary Clinton lost the state by double digits. He’s now the head of Let America Vote, a non-profit group dedicated to fighting right-wing efforts to adopt voter suppression laws.
