Kristen Stewart is set to play Princess Diana in “Spencer,” which Pablo Larraín (“Jackie”) will direct, an individual with knowledge of the project told TheWrap. Steven Knight (“Peaky Blinders,” “Taboo”) wrote the screenplay and production is set to begin in early 2021. Larraín is producing alongside Juan de Dios Larraín through their Fabula banner. Jonas Dornbach, Janine Jackowski and Paul Webster are also producing. FilmNation Entertainment will represent the international rights and will introduce the film to buyers at the upcoming virtual Cannes market.
