State Rep. Geoff Diehl will face U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Warren in November, in a sneak preview of the much-predicted Warren-Trump contest of 2020. Diehl took the three-way GOP primary over Beth Lindstrom and John Kingston tonight. The economy, smaller government and funding to make schools safer were among the issues that dominated in last night’s Republican U.S. Senate primary, as voters decided which candidate will take on Warren in November.
