Jimbo Wales (the founder of wikipedia) criticized the Hugo Chavez article for not including criticism of Chavez's food policies. Some of the things that Jimbo criticized the article for including are the very same sources that I had added in the past, which the Chavez supporters then deleted. My original account was Grundle2600. I was banned by User Rd232. He was one of the Chavez supporters who kept deleting that information. Jimbo doesn't seem to know that this info has been repeatedly added and then deleted from the article. The person who banned me from wikipedia was Rd232, one of...

Under the name Essjay, the contributor edited thousands of Wikipedia articles and was once one of the few people with the authority to deal with vandalism and to arbitrate disputes between authors. To the Wikipedia world, Essjay was a tenured professor of religion at a private university with expertise in canon law, according to his user profile. The Israel News Agency, Israel's first on-line Government Press Office accredited news organization since 1995, has had it article removed three times on Wikipedia. The Israel News Agency, which directly disseminates news from the Israel Government Press Office, in addition to local, international news, features and editorials, has a...

Wikipedia, Censorship, Israel and Terrorism By Joel Leyden Israel News Agency Jerusalem---- May 12.....Wikipedia has censored the Israel Government Press Office accredited Israel News Agency. The move to delete an article on the Israel News Agency, which had a vote to "keep" by the Wikipedia community, was made after the INA's critical critique of Wikipedia in Wikipedia: A Nightmare Of Libel and Slander. In censoring the Israel News Agency, Israel's first government accredited on-line news service established back in 1995, Wikipedia joins the ranks of such notable censoring countries and organizations as Iran, Syria, Saudi Arabia, China, Hamas, Islamic Jihad,...

WikiPedia.org: you can find links to it everywhere. Online forums, scholarly journals, blogs, high school research papers. WikiPedia is an "open source" encyclopedia with the philosophy of democratic contribution. This encyclopedia differs from other more established encyclopedias by its editors; WikiPedia is composed of anonymous people contributing, deleting, and voting on various aspects of articles. WikiPedia is the frontier of online information distribution, with over 830,000 articles in the English language. It does have many criticisms, but there is one very important question that goes ignored by the mainstream media and wikifans alike. Who, exactly, edits WikiPedia? It has come...
