Like weeds in the Spring, orange construction barrels pop up seemingly everywhere when road construction season begins. Those obstacles force us to pay very close attention to our surroundings by making us slow down, change our routes, pay careful attention to the detour signs and generally have a heightened awareness of the events happening all around us.
