As Twitchy told you, Fresno State president Joseph Castro issued a statement last night regarding the disgusting tweets about Barbara Bush by "tenured professor" Randa Jarrar... For a lot of people, Castro's statement left quite a bit to be desired. Namely any indication that Jarrar would face any sort of consequences for her revolting mudslinging. Actor and comedian Jay Mohr was among those who were unimpressed with Castro's response... [Jay Mohr] I'm a comedian, huge free speech advocate. Randa Jarrar should be fired 4 her sheer arrogance. ENOUGH. 2nd amendment must go. Violence has 2 stop. Culture MUST change.” When questioned on the connection between the Second Amendment and the Boston explosions, he just...

Actor and stand-up comic Jay Mohr used the tragic bombing of the Boston Marathon to attack gun rights. The actor, probably best known for his role as a sleazy sports agent in Jerry Maguire, used the bombing as an excuse to attack guns, as he demanded: "2nd amendment must go." In later tweets he went on to slam his critics as people with gun "fetishes."
