Gloria Gaynor performed her hit “I Will Survive” at the Angel Ball — hosted by Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation for Cancer Research founded by Denise Rich — and the disco diva told Page Six she feels responsible for a lot of breakups. “I have always said I sang that song for the ladies and the good men,” Gaynor said. “There are a lot of men out there that are not bad — but they just don’t know how to treat a lady. So we end up with these breakups because we need to be treated right.”

Donald Trump's supporters have hit out at Hollywood once again, this time over a video of some of the biggest celebrities defiantly singing before his inauguration. A new clip by W Magazine and Conde Nast Entertainment shows the likes of Emma Stone, Natalie Portman and Amy Adams reciting the disco classic I Will Survive. The star-studded cast is seen participating in a 'lyrical improv' reading of the Gloria Gaynor song in the video, released just days before Trump will be sworn in. It's already racked up more than a million views, but many of Trump's most fervent fans found the...

INTERVIEW - More Christian Controversy So-called gay icon Tammy Faye goes on record as ‘disagreeing’ with gay community, says Bible is against same-sex marriages By Daniel A. Kusner Lifestyles Editor In her new book, I Will Survive … And You Will, Too! Tammy Faye Messner offers T-shirt-like slogans about overcoming hardships. These cutesy little tidbits are called “Tammy-isms,” which match her baby-voiced approach to life. After a recent phone interview with the former Queen of the Electric Church, one Tammy-ism seemed to ring especially true: “People are like tea bags — if you want to find out what’s inside...
  • Thes Tag Lines Are Driving Me Crazy (VAnity)

The new "taglines" after people's usernames are really distracting to me. Is it the intense pressure to think up something too cute? Is it the odd little eye-pulling font that makes it less comfortable to read the article? I can't say for sure. It just doesn't seem to detract from the message board format, at least for me. Does anyone else think so? I love FR but find this new tagline thing a little annoying. Maybe Jim could give us the option to view or not view taglines as part of our user preferences.
