Nebraska voters voted pro-life on two key measures in last nights presidential election. Nebraska voters rejected an extreme abortion ballot proposal, Initiative 439, and simultaneously passed pro-life Initiative 434. First, Nebraska voters rejected the “Protect the Right to Abortion” amendment, which would enshrine abortion as a right in the state constitution – defeating it on a 51.2-48.8 margin.
