SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — US Senator John Thune has also secured the Republican Primary spot for US Senator on the November ballot in the general election. The Associated Press called the race just about an hour after results came in. Thune held off Bruce Whalen and Mark Mowry for the Republican spot.
