A major election-time story involving claims that Russia put bounties on American troops in Afghanistan imploded on Thursday when the White House revealed that U.S. intelligence does not have conclusive evidence that the reports were ever true. Intelligence assessments, first reported by the New York Times last June, allegedly revealed that the Russian government had secretly offered bounties for successful attacks on American soldiers in Afghanistan. Democrats seized on the story to paint Donald Trump as a traitor willing to do the bidding of the Russians even at the cost of American lives.

Fox News host Tucker Carlson asked on his program on Wednesday night why Dr. Anthony Fauci believes those who have received the COVID-19 vaccine or have recovered from having the virus must continue to adhere to restrictions. On Tuesday, Tucker Carlson ran a segment questioning why Dr. Fauci and others oppose loosening COVID restrictions, in light of the millions of vaccinations currently occurring. The segment came after the White House coronavirus task force leader called Carlson’s questioning vaccine efficacy “typical, crazy conspiracy theory.”

I’m not sure the last part of that statement is true, but it doesn’t matter. There are more than enough conservatives to inflict a huge amount of economic pain on enterprises that take the left’s side in political and cultural disputes — if conservatives wake up to reality and are willing to fight back. I patronize twof the entities Baseball Coke No more. I turned down the opportunity offered by a good friend to attend Opening Day for the Washington Nationals. The weather is supposed to great, the pitching matchup (deGrom vs. Scherzer) could scarcely be better, and the Nationals...

A prison is a prison. That’s true whether it’s called a “family residential facility,” or a “rapid-processing center.” These facilities must be torn down, not renamed. I know what it’s like to be incarcerated as a child. I’m a Japanese-American who was born behind barbed wire, in the maximum-security Tule Lake Segregation Center during World War II. When I was two years old, I was transferred to the Crystal City Family Internment Camp, run by the Immigration and Naturalization Service — the agency that evolved decades later into ICE. It is just a 20-minute drive away from Carrizo Springs and...

On Sunday, a former White House physician to ex-Presidents Barack Obama and Donald Trump suggested there was something peculiar about President Joe Biden stumbling on the steps of Air Force One on Friday. Ronny Jackson tweeted, “I served as White House physician under THREE Presidents,” noting also his service under former President George W. Bush. “I’ve seen what it takes physically AND mentally to do the job,” he continued. “I can tell you right now that the way Biden is hiding from the public is a MAJOR red flag.”

On Tuesday, Vice President Kamala Harris dodged a question about the unaccompanied minor crisis on the U.S. Southern border, telling reporters that she hadn’t “been briefed on it today.” The surge of unaccompanied minors being apprehended at the border and housed in U.S. facilities has been going on for weeks. Harris made her comments while promoting the $1.9 trillion coronavirus spending package during a trip to Colorado.

Last night, Joe Biden gave his first prime time address since taking office. Biden, who still hasn’t held a press conference and who still hasn’t delivered a State of the Union, reminded everyone who watched it just why the White House is so hell bent on hiding the President from the media: because he is an unmitigated disaster when he speaks. Even by Biden standards the speech was dismal. Biden rambled, looked lost, and delivered cringe-worthy attempts at “showing emotion.” It was more Saturday Night Live than Lincoln, but you wouldn’t know that if you didn’t watch the speech.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott announced that he is deploying National Guard troops to the southern border to address what he calls a “crisis.” Abbott (R) announced Operation Lone Star over the weekend to address the smuggling of people and drugs into the state, something he blames on the current administration. “The crisis at our southern border continues to escalate because of Biden Administration policies that refuse to secure the border and invite illegal immigration,” he said.

Itâs March of 2021, less than six months after the last Presidential election and barely a month after Joe Biden was sworn in, and yet the 2024 horse race silliness is well under way. It feels like every other day or so there is a new poll out on who Republicans prefer to be the partyâs nominee in 2024 and even decidedly unscientific findings â like the CPAC straw poll â are touted as tea leaves to be read about the future of the Republican Party.

In the film “Wag The Dog,” Robert De Niro plays a political fixer who produces a fake war to save a president from a scandal. In one seminal scene, William H. Macy plays a CIA operative who tells De Niro’s character that there is no war. But the fixer has an answer; he says of course there is a war, because he is watching it on TV. We find ourselves in a similar place on the supposed Republican civil war in the wake of the non-leftist Capitol riot. Let’s be perfectly clear: there is no civil war in the GOP,...

President Joe Bidenâs administration is lending support to a study of reparations for African-Americans, with the effort part of new Democratic legislation to create a commission on the controversial issue. The Associated press reported on Wednesday that a House panel heard testimony on a bill to create the commission that would examine the history of slavery in the U.S. and offer solutions, like reparations. According to Reuters, Biden stated last year that âwe must acknowledge that there can be no realization of the American dream without grappling with the original sin of slavery, and the centuries-long campaign of violence, fear,...

The Wall Street Journal reported that President Donald Trump had talked to aides about the idea of starting a new political party. His urge is understandable. Considering the events that have transpired since the January 6th riots and some Republicans voting to impeach him, emotions are high. Minority Leader Mitch McConnell’s floor speech was rather shocking as well as disappointing. Even more so in light of additional information that the Capitol’s breach was planned in advance, not a result of Trump’s comments that day. That really weakens any incitement charge. However, I would ask President Trump to pause for a...

As the House voted to impeach President Donald Trump on Wednesday, much praise was given to Congresswoman Liz Cheney for being one of the ten Republicans who voted to impeach. Cheney is the #3 Republican in the House, which added weight to her stance. But it was her father Dick Cheney and his legacy â a legacy she clearly plans to continue â that is arguably the most impeachable offense in American history.

The Republican Party killed itself. The particular poison it swallowed is the hatred it harbors for its own voters. Sooner or later, all that hatred was going to burn it up. When Republican lawmakers turned their backs on Republican voters protesting for free and fair elections and endorsed election fraud by ignoring it, they blew up any remaining illusion that the Red-Blue divide in D.C. is real. Republican voters struggled for over a decade to give the Republican Party all the power it needed to fight for the Constitution and American liberty and against the quickening assault of totalitarian state...

The popular narrative circulating in Washington is that Donald Trump is finished. Even if, after a while, he tries to make a comeback, his brand has become so toxic that it’s unlikely he can dominate the Republican stage anymore. He won’t be invited to speak at Republican gatherings. He won’t be asked to campaign for GOP candidates. He will be shunned by the Republican Party now and forevermore. Oh, really? Indeed, losing access to Twitter crippled Trump and his ability to communicate with his followers. But no one has taken away his email account. And there are other social media...

Perhaps $2000 could be issued for each SSN holder for whom over $1000 in FICA&SE taxes was paid in four quarters within the tax years 2018-2019 who lacked total state unemployment insurance (UI) income in excess of $6000 in the previous UI quarter at least 30 days prior to enactment. If in excess $6000 but less than $14000, the $2000 would be reduced by 25 percent of the excess. Payment would done by the claimant's state unemployment office at least three federal business days after electronically filing a 1099-DJT for $2000(or lower amount) with the IRS so duplicate payouts under...

It’s just the flu, bro. We need to change the narrative. Right now the compassionate person is the one who wears a mask at all times and social distances. This is their act of charity to help keep grandma alive and help to avoid the spread of the “deadly” Coronavirus plague. The narrative above is terrible for those who love freedom. So I will refer back to yesterday’s thread for a narrative that properly paints the Flubros and Flubras as altruistic, which we are. Items below sum up the Flubro narrative and counters the covidiots. 1. When I refuse to...
