The Collingswood (NJ) Police Department posted a statement to its official Facebook account last Monday after the Haunted Hayride in Knight Park, New Jersey had to be shut down after hundreds of juveniles swarmed the attraction. For the safety of those in attendance, the decision was made to shut down the hayride and manage the crowd. Police officers, event organizers and mutual aid officers escorted families away while addressing the individuals involved in the altercations. Carrie Shobe Kwok, 66, of St. Paul, was kneeling over a colorful art project she'd been working on to brighten the community when surveillance footage showed the moment she was shot and killed. VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. — A 78-year-old DeLeon Springs man is in jail without bond, accused of shooting and killing his neighbor during a dispute over trees. Edward Druzolowski is charged with second-degree murder in the death of 42-year-old Brian Ford. 911 calls released Monday reveal it was the suspect's wife who called for help.
