An iron working hearthstone was discovered on Newfoundland, hundreds of miles from the only noted Viking location to date. Another thousand-year-old Viking colony might have been found on the island of Newfoundland, Canada. Dianna Montague made history when she became the first African-American woman to join the Philadelphia’s Iron Workers Union Local 405. As the chairman and CEO of Iron Lady Enterprises Inc., Montague holds the distinction of being one of the only female ironworkers in Philadelphia.
