On Wednesday, author Ann Coulter blasted Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) for his support of the immigration reform bill which is being put forth by the “Gang of Eight” that he is a part of. Her headline was classic Coulter, “IF RUBIO’S AMNESTY IS SO GREAT, WHY IS HE LYING?”. In it, she proceeds to expose the obvious problems with the Florida Senator’s proposed immigration legislation. “When Republicans start lying like Democrats, you can guess they are pushing an idea that’s bad for America,” the conservative author wrote. “During his William Ginsburg-like tour of the Sunday talk shows last weekend, Sen....

Evangelicals who have come together to support immigration reform have expressed concern over the White House's decision to include support for same-sex couples in their official immigration proposal. While not mentioning the issue during his Tuesday speech demanding comprehensive immigration reform, President Barack Obama's proposal does include measures that pertain to same-sex couples. The Rev. Gabriel Salguero, president of the National Latino Evangelical Coalition, told The Christian Post that he questioned the inclusion of another hot button issue in an already tense subject. "It seems to me that … you are combining two disparate issues when it hasn't been resolved...

In a visceral display of the left’s desire to shut down speech they don’t agree with, a group of May Day Occupy marchers in New York City attacked counter-protesters from the group NY-iCE, an organization that supports enforcement of immigration laws. Dozens of marchers stopped their march in order to taunt, bully and scream at the small contingent holding up a banner with the Statue of Liberty on it that read ‘No Trespassing’ and gave the groups contact info. Eventually, the mob tears the group’s banner and sends them fleeing.

Last night at my second job, an illegal alien began chatting with me (due to my Spanish fluency, he felt more comfortable giving his views) and told me that this country was soon going to be "Latino". He said the Americans wanted to deport the illegals, but were not going to be able to do so because so many were born here and were therefore U.S. citizens. He was bold and adamant that the country was going to belong to them and that the "...white man would fade away." I agreed with him to keep him going and sold him...

Federal authorities have detained 39 immigrants in San Diego County during a three-day effort to catch fugitives linked to crimes and pending deportation orders, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement said in a news release Monday. Of the illegal immigrants arrested last week by an agency Fugitive Operations Team, half had prior convictions for crimes including domestic violence, indecent exposure, vehicle theft, fraud, driving under the influence and drug violations. Most faced outstanding orders for deportation or had returned after being deported. But none appeared to be a major threat to public security as defined by the agency’s Fugitive Operations Program,...

Protesters on Tuesday night pelted a police station with eggs, rocks and bottles despite Police Chief Charlie Beck's plea for calm earlier in the day and his promise to thoroughly investigate an officer's fatal shooting of a Guatemalan immigrant wielding a knife. At a late-afternoon news conference, Beck said only 40 seconds went by between the time officers made contact with Manuel Jamines on Sunday and the moment an officer shot him twice. The shooting prompted demonstrations Monday near MacArthur Park, a densely packed neighborhood west of downtown populated with recent immigrants from Central America. Four people were arrested on...
