One of the issues we raised in the Jan. NER article, What Rep. Peter King Could Do About Radicalization of American Muslims was the broken humanitarian refugee program run by our State Department, Department of Homeland Security, Immigration Control and Enforcement agency and Department of Health and Human services, Office of Refugee Resettlement. We drew attention to the example of Somali Muslims who have posed terrorist threats here and abroad, rejected assimilation and lived off of taxpayer-funded welfare and MEDICAID while sending hundreds of millions of dollars home to war-torn Islamist Somalia wracked by civil war perpetrated by al Qaeda...

In recent months, labor organizations representing federal immigration agents have been among the most outspoken challengers of Obama’s enforcement campaign. In June, the American Federation of Government Employees’ National Council 118, which represents Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents, issued a no-confidence vote for ICE Director John Morton, claiming he is promoting amnesty instead of enforcement because most ICE officers are unable to make immigration-related arrests on the streets, leading to “amnesty by policy.” The National Border Patrol Council adopted a similar no-confidence resolution targeting Border Patrol Chief David Aguilar. Brandon Judd, union vice president and president of Local 2544 in...

For several years, Mexico has been solving their own unemployment problem by sending their jobless citizens to the United States. The result has been a low, steady rate of unemployment in Mexico since 2000. Of course, the unimpeded flow of cheap labor headed north, has had a disastrous effect on U.S. workers. Consider the following facts: -Between 1991-1999, Mexico had an average unemployment rate of 3.7 percent. Now, as economies around the world are falling apart and experiencing record joblessness, Mexico still has a relatively low unemployment rate of 5.5 percent (July 2010). -While the U.S. currently has an anemic...

There are more than enough fugitive illegal aliens terrorizing us to populate a midsize American city. These skunks have already been taken into custody, brought before a judge and ordered into a process designed to end in their deportation. If we had a sane policy toward securing our borders by now most if not all of them would be gone. Unfortunately our system is not geared toward kicking these criminals out. It is actually a fraudulent scheme to build Democrat Party registration ranks, because incredibly after their initial court appearances our system releases illegal aliens on the strength of their...

A protest in Los Angeles over a deadly police shooting of an immigrant turned into a clash between the cops and demonstrators Monday. Police donned riot gear to clear an area near MacArthur Park around 10 p.m. as angry protesters began throwing bottles and setting trash cans on fire. Only a couple of people were arrested, police said. The clash was sparked by an incident on Sunday afternoon, when bicycle cops were alerted to a man allegedly waving a knife at pedestrians. When they arrived, offices ordered the man to drop the blade. When he refused, he was shot dead....
