One of the constants about socialist governments, going back to Stalin and Hitler, is that ordinary people become spies against their neighbors. When East Germany fell, and people could finally see files from the Stasi (i.e., secret police), it turned out that almost 200,000 people were currently serving as informers, and everyone was encouraged to spy on family, friends, and neighbors to serve the cause. Biden’s DHS would like to see the same happen in America. A FOIA request revealed that it produced training documents teaching ordinary Americans to report on Americans opposed to Biden’s policies. This sounds too far-fetched...

Rep. James Comer (R-Ky.), the incoming chairman of the House Oversight Committee, says that the Biden administration may have engaged in a quid pro quo with Saudi Arabia, and he appeared to suggest that this was an impeachable offense per the Democrats’ own standards. Back in October, Saudi Arabia said that Joe Biden tried to get OPEC+ to delay a cut in oil production until after the midterm elections were over. “It appears that Joe Biden went on his hands and knees to Saudi Arabia and begged them to increase oil production before the election — which of course would...

The United States imported a rare cargo of 1.033 million barrels of Iranian crude in March despite sanctions on Iran’s energy sector, data from the U.S. Energy Information Administration showed. The cargo is only the second oil import by the United States from Iran since late 1991, data on EIA’s website showed.

The administration couldn't give Congress documentation of the Nuclear Iran secret side deals - it doesn't have them and never did. In an exclusive interview with the JewishPress.com, Rep. Mike Pompeo (R-KS) disclosed that not only has every member of Congress who voted for the Nuclear Iran Deal never seen any of the documents containing key elements of the deal, but also that not a single document from or about those side deals is anywhere in the possession of any Americans. This means that neither the President of the United States, nor the Secretary of State, nor any member of...

Video at link. (CNSNews.com) - Louis Fisher, a scholar in residence at the Constitution Project who served for 40 years as a constitutional law expert at the Library of Congress, says Americans and members of Congress should understand that President Barack Obama committed a “very grave offense” against the Constitution in taking military action in Libya without congressional authorization. “I am not going to recommend that the House Judiciary Committee hold impeachment hearings, but I would like members of Congress and the public to say that nothing would be more impeachable than a President who takes the country to war...

Kucinich must pay $50,000 for improperly using campaign expensesBy Daniel Strauss - 02/18/11 10:29 AM ET The Federal Election Commission has ordered Rep. Dennis Kucinich (D-Ohio) to repay more than $50,000 that that the agency says was improperly used for campaign expenses in 2004. In a ruling issued Thursday, the FEC said Kucinich used $52,443 in public matching funds to pay for campaign expenses after he was no longer a candidate for president. The Ohio Democrat was given 30 days to pay back the funds to the U.S. Treasury. "The Commission reaches this conclusion because the Commission found that [Kucinich...

WASHINGTON — Not long after news leaked last month that Andrew Romanoff was determined to make a Democratic primary run against Sen. Michael Bennet, Romanoff received an unexpected communication from one of the most powerful men in Washington. Jim Messina, President Barack Obama's deputy chief of staff and a storied fixer in the White House political shop, suggested a place for Romanoff might be found in the administration and offered specific suggestions, according to several sources who described the communication to The Denver Post. Romanoff turned down the overture, which included mention of a job at USAID, the foreign aid...

President George W. Bush tried to counter strong opposition among many Republicans to his guest-worker plan on Saturday, arguing that allowing immigrants to take jobs Americans don't want adds to "economic vitality." Bush weighed in on the immigration issue in his weekly radio address as the Senate was days away from taking up debate on the subject. The president favors including a temporary work visa in broad legislation that would also bolster border enforcement. But some Republicans view the guest-worker plan as a back-door amnesty for illegal immigrants and prefer an approach that focuses solely on toughening border security and...
