France is banning Muslim girls from wearing headscarves in schools. While severely wounding democracy, millions of Muslims in France are being discriminated against. In Islam, Muslim women wear the headscarf as a requirement of modesty. Islam teaches that it is not by baring her charms that a lady is liberated. A lady is judged by her mind and soul, irrespective of her physical appearance. Some may argue that Islam represses women by means of the headscarf.
