Colbert King published an odd piece in the Washington Post on Friday that was equal parts hysteria, constitutional ignorance, and alternate history. He suggests that resistance to some of President Barack Obama’s executive orders amounts to nothing more than “insurrection.” Indeed, he compares this resistance to the actions of white southerners to President Abraham Lincoln.
