At least two reporters have had their press credentials denied by Donald Trump's campaign staffers within the last week. There is speculation that Trump ordered the move because two major news outlets have been publishing stories about his presidential campaign in the entertainment section instead of under political news. According to CNN, Huffington Post reporter Samantha-Jo Roth and Jason Noble of the Des Moines Register were told that they would not get credentials for Trump events "from now on," but they would be able to attend as part of the general public. http://www.starpulse.com/news/index.php/2015/09/21/two-reporters-banned-from-donald-trump

Last week The Ryersonian reported on an incident that involved two first-year journalism students who were turned away from an event organized by Racialized Students' Collective because they are white. Since then there has been a lot of commentary on the piece and a lot of debate -- a lot of the criticism is valid.
