North Carolina residents have come together to increase the reward money for information leading to the arrest of a man who shot a Lancaster woman in a road rage incident last week. NORFOLK, Neb. — A Norfolk woman is dead following a shooting early Friday. The suspect ran from police, crossed state lines and was arrested in Sioux City, Ia. Norfolk Police Department Chief Mike Bauer told KETV Newswatch 7 that the shooting took place around 6:50 a.m. Friday. Authorities were called to a home near the 1100th block off Blaine Street.

Police say four people were shot and killed in separate acts of violence this weekend in Charlotte. Two of the victims were teenagers. Just before 9:45 p.m. Saturday, someone called 911 to report a shooting at the BP gas station in the 5700 block of East W.T. Harris Boulevard in east Charlotte. According to Charlotte-Mecklenburg police, first responders found 52-year-old Allen Nugene Smith shot in a car that was parked at the business.
