The holstered firearm was inside the purse Det. Brittney Hilton of the Bridge City Police Department was carrying when the accidental discharge occurred. “I picked up my bag, my keys were on top,” she said. “As I walked around my desk, my purse swings out and it shoots out the bottom of my bag.” She heard the sound, but it took a moment for Det. Hilton to realize what happened.

Corrupt Obama judge Linda Parker was somehow chosen for the 2020 Election case in Michigan where mountains of corruption took place that led to stealing the election from President Trump in late-night ballot dumps in the state. She ended the case. Judge Parker was mentioned due to her actions involving a case the Democrats in Michigan took out against attorneys Sidney Powell and Lin Wood for claiming the election was stolen. Now today we find out that the corrupt Obama judge agreed with her fellow Democrats and ordered Powell and Wood to go to training, pay the state’s costs in...

Just when you think the accusations of racism can't get any more absurd, this ridiculous headline pops up on Yahoo!Sports: "MLB umpires show discrimination against non-white players, according to new study." That's right. You read it correctly. Major-league umpires are racist, and it's based on allegedly erroneous ball and strike calls and which player benefits from the errant call. "A new study suggests MLB umpires discriminate against non-white players, according to Hank Snowdon, a student at Claremont McKenna," wrote Chris Cwik from Yahoo!Sports. "The study used balls and strikes data from the past 13 seasons to determine the rate of...

Firearms makers big and small have reported increased sales, and last month Springfield, Mass.-based Smith & Wesson reported that its sales more than doubled in its last fiscal year to $1.1 billion. The company’s sales certainly remained strong into July, when the company claimed the top spots on Guns.com top firearms sales charts for the month with its M&P 15 Sport II Optics Ready, an AR-style modern sporting rifle that the company noted was engineered for a wide variety of recreational, sport shooting and even professional applications.

The shuttering of its ammunition factories contributed in part to this year’s ammunition shortage. Production had been halted at the start of the pandemic, and then remained idle during the bankruptcy. However, the Remington brand name was bought by Vista Outdoors, which now produces several types of ammunition. It took several months, but the old Remington facility in Lonoke, Arkansas is now up and running, almost at full capacity, Outdoor Life reported. It hired back hundreds of former and new employees and is now producing upwards of a million rounds every day.

Could use some help please. I make a calendar every year for my dad that includes daily text entries to remind him of birthdays, but also has jokes and puns which he likes. I have always used the iPhoto calendar template in the past, but Apple no longer supports making calendars from iPhoto. Last year the Apple template was available but I had to order the calendar from Mimeo by sending them a PDF of my iPhoto calendar.. Mimeo has a calendar template but it limits text entries to maybe 20 words per date. I have searched all over but...

Normally August and early September are when sport shooters and hunters head to the range to prepare for the upcoming season, but this year that could be a problem. Firearms sales have remained strong this summer, dipping only slightly from last year’s record-breaking sales, but the problem is that ammunition has continued to remain in short supply. “Everything is difficult right now,” Dave Larsen, manager of Doug’s Shoot’n Sports of Taylorsville, Utah, told local news channel KUTV.

Last month a survey of American firearms enthusiasts found that seventy-nine percent of respondents said they’d cut down on their shooting-related activities due to the ongoing ammunition shortage. The survey, which was conducted by industry research firm Southwick Associates, further found that four out of five consumers had encountered “out-of-stock” situations.

First developed to combine the attributes of the 9mm Luger and the .45 ACP, this round is now one of the best handgun hunting cartridges made for semiautomatics. Handgun shooters know that two of the most popular calibers are the 9mm Luger (Parabellum) and the .45 ACP. The latter is slow but makes a big hole, while the faster 9mm tends to lose energy quickly once it hits the target but shoots fast and flat. In a perfect world, a gunmaker would bridge these two rounds to make a fast and hard-hitting bullet. It is this very idea that led...

A Christian alternative to the Boy Scouts, Trail Life USA, is filling in the gap since membership in the Boy Scouts took a huge dive after moving to a more woke focus. Boy Scouts of America lost two million members in the past eight years. Trail Life USA started after the Boy Scouts decision to lift its ban on gay scout leaders. The Christian-based alternative group seeks to “guide generations of courageous young men to honor God, lead with integrity, serve others, and experience outdoor adventure.”

Rare Matchbox toy cars can fetch more than the cost of a real one, but there are still bargains to be found – so collecting them could set you on the road to a fortune. With positives and negatives, deciding if a red dot sight is right for you boils down to your handgun’s mission. So, in the form of a disclaimer, I am old. Fifty-one years old, to be exact. As a soldier and a cop, I’ve been making a living with a gun for nearly my entire adult life. I can say, with some degree of distinction, that I have carried just about every variety of AR/M-16 that has ever been used by the US military: M-16A1, M-16A2, M203, M4 and the AR-15 patrol rifle. With age comes a certain amount of suspicion...

You’ll want to hold on tight with both hands when shooting any of these revolvers or semi-auto pistolsHandguns are generally considered to be low in power and high in portability. They were originally thought of, and still are, as self-defense tools for close-quarters combat. But the handgun has evolved over the years. Handguns today aren’t just concealed-carry firearms made to fend off bad guys. They’re also used for hunting the largest and most dangerous game in the world. We’re not talking about specialized single shots and bolt-action handguns either; we’re talking about semi-automatics and revolvers. The power of some of...

Jessamyn Stanley is a yoga instructor and “body activist.” Jessamyn is making headlines for some reason after blaming white supremacy for polluting yoga. Seriously. This happened. PEOPLE reported: Jessamyn Stanley needs you to know what yoga is really about – and it’s not the poses. In her new book Yoke: My Yoga of Self-Acceptance, the yoga instructor and body activist shares reflective personal essays that touch upon everything from racism to the cultural appropriation of American yoga, from consumerism to cannabis. And while the timing couldn’t be better considering the current cultural climate, the idea for the book came to...

Spike was apparently a bit of a mascot at SOG forward operating base-4 of CCN. Taught to serve drinks and do all manner of errands for the Green Berets of SOG.. One of the SOG recon men saying he even helped a SFC man and fire a 81mm mortar in a mortar pit during the infamous attack on August 23 in 1968 when NVA sappers infiltrated a SOG compound from the sea in the middle of the night and caused multiple casualties of the recon men."he was in that mortar pit firing illumination rounds over the camp. John Titor was an alleged time traveler from the year 2036, who shared detailed information about his time machine, mission, and original timeline with forum users in the years 2000 and 2001. A Brief History Of John Titor In 1998, late night paranormal talk show host Art Bell received two faxes from an individual claiming to have pertinent information on the nature of time travel. In the first fax, the sender (at that time, unnamed) detailed the discovery of time travel (involving the particle accelerator at CERN) in the year 2034. He also claimed that a “brick wall” existed in...
