Last month a survey of American firearms enthusiasts found that seventy-nine percent of respondents said they’d cut down on their shooting-related activities due to the ongoing ammunition shortage. The survey, which was conducted by industry research firm Southwick Associates, further found that four out of five consumers had encountered “out-of-stock” situations.

The ammo situation is actually improving.
We have more ammo on the shelves than we have had for months.

At least for handguns, 9mm ammo from online sources has recently become more plentiful and is dropping price. I have also noticed other calibers becoming available after months of being out of stock.

If we can get tons of drugs and millions of illegals across the border why can’t we bring up a few millions tons of ammo?

Who do you use for your ammo?

We are already aware of ammo shortages. Stupid 19fortyfive. Clickbait.

Didn’t they hijack some tractor trailers full of ammo, in Mexico, recently.

It’s 19fortyfive. It’s predetermined to be stupid and late.
There’s a lot of 9mm on the shelves. $25 a box. Yikes. I even saw primers last week. Too expensive though.

Primary is Sportsman Outdoor Superstore. #2 is Ammunition Depot. Every now and then: Lucky Gunner.

Remington seems to be fully on line in Lonoke AR now, and (with luck) people are no longer in full panic buying mode. Still, looks like another year to 18 months until any normalcy returns, imo.

Was in Academy Sports several days ago - massive amount of 5.56 & .223 on the shelves with a decent amount of 9mm. Was in a Cabelas just yesterday - AR15s in the gunrack behind the counter, the first I've seen in stock there since half past forever. Am anticipating a manufacturing overrun before there's a throttle-back and there will be deals to be had coming up.

Yep, that’s what I found. Yesterday, one store has four types of 9mm for sale. All of them were twice the normal/old price.

I have drawn for a muzzleloader elk hunt in Colorado. I now have the gun but powder is hard to come by. I found pretty much everything else here in town. They want to have you pay something like an extra $25 for shipping of hazardous materials if you order online, which is more than the powder costs.
To: Troublemaker
.223 used to be .37 to .40 cent a round.......70 to .80 cent a round is a good deal nowadays
