The ammo situation is actually improving.
We have more ammo on the shelves than we have had for months.
At least for handguns, 9mm ammo from online sources has recently become more plentiful and is dropping price. I have also noticed other calibers becoming available after months of being out of stock.
If we can get tons of drugs and millions of illegals across the border why can’t we bring up a few millions tons of ammo?
We are already aware of ammo shortages. Stupid 19fortyfive. Clickbait.
Remington seems to be fully on line in Lonoke AR now, and (with luck) people are no longer in full panic buying mode. Still, looks like another year to 18 months until any normalcy returns, imo.
I have drawn for a muzzleloader elk hunt in Colorado. I now have the gun but powder is hard to come by. I found pretty much everything else here in town. They want to have you pay something like an extra $25 for shipping of hazardous materials if you order online, which is more than the powder costs.
Just hit the local emporium today and they were well stocked with 9 mm, had a *4* box limit and the prices were down.
Definitely the best I have seen in over a year.
Ammo is coming back and getting somewhat cheaper. Now to get primers back out of the stratosphere.
“Attention Hunters: The Great Ammo Shortage Is Coming For You”
Seems funny to me there was a critical ammo shortage for a while and then scads of it showed up at double the price.
the other 21% are masturbating on their hoard.
Was at Cabela’s couple of months ago and their entire ammo section was empty, nothing at all on the shelves whereas right after Trump won they had all you wanted. Online ammo sales selling a 333 round brick for $65, the same one I bought for $15.95 earlier.
And an arrow or two hunting in bow season.
Maybe two 12G shotgun shells during Turkey season.../
I might site in everything 3-4 times,,,,and that is it.
Well unless you loaded up a long time ago. 😏
Our local store still has plenty of 6.5MM Creedmoor. Nothing else.
I need some reasonably priced 6.5 X 55 Swede.
Ammo shortages happen on a regular cycle if you haven’t figured that one out. Buy when it is available not when it is scarce. Buy what you can afford and do it regularly during the good times. I have not slowed down my range time one iota. I have seen this rodeo before to many times.
I've also eliminated any "warning" shots to any home intruders will simply be shot dead, period.
Better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6.
