Something must be really worrying Democrats. There appears to be a full-court press effort to delay and defer any and every effort to audit Maricopa County's election results. Officials in Arizona's Maricopa County are withholding materials subpoenaed by the state legislature as part of its audit of the county's 2020 election, claiming that surrendering them would constitute a security risk for both law enforcement and federal agencies.

Democrats are having flashbacks of what happened with the late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, but this time it is with current Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer. Many Democrat politicians have been tiptoeing around his feelings and not directly asking him to retire because they are frightened that it may look too political. But what they want is a new, young liberal justice on the court in the place of the 82-year-old justice, CNN reported.

Two Major League Baseball teams, the New York Yankees and New York Mets, are getting prepared to, kind of, bring their games back to normal. But the price of bringing the games back to somewhat normal is precisely what many people were frightened of to begin with, CBS New York reported. Their stadiums, Yankee Stadium and Citi Field respectively, will have separate seating for vaccinated and non-vaccinated people. In the vaccinated section, fans will not have to socially distance but will still, ridiculously, have to wear masks even after the Centers For Disease Control said masks were not needed outside.

A prominent Democrat is sounding the alarm about Joe Biden's handling of the border crisis. Texas Democrat Rep. Henry Cuellar is accusing the Biden administration of misleading the public about the purported success of its immigration policies. The Department of Homeland Security released photos of a migrant processing facility in the border town of Donna, Texas, on Tuesday. The photos showed sparsely populated plastic cages where crowds of children had been kept, suggesting that the Biden administration is effectively dealing with the crisis-level flood of illegal immigrant children that have come into the U.S. in recent months.

Joe Biden and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi have described themselves as devout Catholics, a description enthusiastically repeated by his press secretary and the media. But now Pelosi's hometown bishop is taking a not-so-subtle jab at her and Biden's abortion advocacy, arguing that self-identified Catholics should refrain from publicly promoting the practice or face potential exclusion from Holy Communion. "If you find that you are unwilling or unable to abandon your advocacy for abortion, you should not come forward to receive Holy Communion," said Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone in a pastoral letter.

Democrats are very worried about the election audit taking place in Arizona. The Biden Department of Justice has sent a letter to Arizona Senate President Karen Fann taking issue with Maricopa County's forensic audit of the 2020 election. The letter is from Pamela Karlan, the principal deputy assistant attorney general of the Civil Rights Division. Karlan writes to Fann that the DOJ is taking issue with two main parts of the forensic audit.
