A defiant Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer vowed that he will not step down from his leadership role any time soon while strenuously defending his decision to vote against blocking a GOP bill to avert a partial government shutdown. Schumer (D-NY), 74, who has been facing a progressive revolt over his shutdown vote earlier this month, reiterated that he “did this out of conviction” and fired back at detractors such as former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) “Look, I’m not stepping down,” Schumer told NBC’s “Meet the Press” in a pre-taped interview that aired Sunday. “I did it out of...

The political party that is pro-open borders, pro-child mutilation, and pro-destroying women’s sports has hit an all-time low in popularity, and the far-left Washington Post is all kinds of confused over this. “It has been evident for some time that the Democratic Party isn’t in a great place,” writes the Post. “It’s somewhat normal for that to be the case for a party after a disappointing election. But the scale of Democrats’ problems is beginning to come into focus. And it’s both stark and sobering for the blue team.” This “analysis” piece goes on to cite the bad news.

As Winter Storm Blair wreaks havoc across the United States, blanketing highways with snow, disrupting power grids, and bringing life-threatening conditions to millions, the absence of leadership in promoting remote work is both perplexing and deeply frustrating. With the storm spanning over 1,500 miles from the Plains to the Mid-Atlantic, affecting more than 60 million people, this is a moment when proactive policies could save lives, reduce economic disruption and maintain a semblance of normalcy. The National Weather Service has issued stark warnings, with blizzard conditions, significant icing and dangerously low visibility reported in numerous states. In Ohio, where my...

Meanwhile, “Biden has a 36% job approval rating, a four-year low for the president in Emerson polls, while his disapproval rating remains steady at 52%.”

The January-March numbers were the highest number of shortages recorded since the ASHP began recording them in 2001. The University of Utah Drug Information Service collects data from pharmacists nationwide and compiles them into statistics on the ASHP’s website.

A rare tornado struck the northern Haitian community of Bassin-Bleu on Tuesday, injuring more than 50 people and leaving about 300 homeless, according to the United Nations Office for Humanitarian Affairs. Why? Trudeau was upset that opposition MPs had taken a few moments longer than he liked to begin voting on a key piece of his legislative agenda. Trudeau's Liberal government had made a motion to shut down debate on a bill that would allow assisted suicide in Canada. Opposition MPs on both sides of the issue claim the government bill is flawed and needs more debate and...
