Quick question - Any easy way to convert a string used by a bean:write tag into lowercase format?

Hi - My PC clone has AMD-K6 & Win 98 SE 1. What changes do I have to make, (and how), to make my computer Boot from CD-ROM? I have a CD that has FreeSBIE / (FreeBSD) on it. When I am able to boot from the CD-ROM, then the FreeBSD is supposed to run the computer from the CD. 2. Can anyone help me? I just installed Norton Internet Security 2004, upgrading from NIS 2003. I cannot get the ad blocking feature on NIS 2004 to work. I have enabled ad blocking and pop-up blocking, and I continue to get pop-up ads. I have also manually added several of pop-up source URLs to my "blocked" list, and yet I continue to get pop-ups from these sources. Symantec's web site has no article on this problem that I can locate. I know there are a lot of technically savvy Freepers out there, so I hope someone can help. Thanks in advance.

I just had my hard drive fail. It stopped spinning. Does anyone have experience with a company that recovers the data off a broken hard drive? What price is reasonable? What type of success rate is expected?

Some freepers have made beautiful posts and I am frustrated that I have not found an html editor I can use that is compatible with the FreeRepublic.com.
